About Sulema

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is focused on being adaptable. I love reading the game, anticipating the opponent’s moves, and adjusting my positioning accordingly. I aim to stay aggressive when attacking and look for opportunities to hit or help my teammates for a good play. Overall, I focus on teamwork, staying aware of the game’s flow, and pushing myself to improve every match

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is focused on staying positive and resilient, no matter what the score is. I try to stay calm under pressure and focus on what I can control, like my reactions and attitude. I don’t shy away from challenges and use mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow. Ultimately, I want to bring a strong work ethic and a passion for the game to every practice and match.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've honed my teamwork skills by collaborating with my teammates on the court. Working together, communicating , and supporting each other during games have been key in developing our team spirit. Plus, being a part of the volleyball community has taught me the value of dedication. It's all about the love for the game.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yeah, I've faced some significant challenges. I hurt my labrum last season and was out for months. It was tough because I had to go through physical therapy, which was a long and sometimes painful process. Overcoming the fear of playing again was a big hurdle, but with determination and support from my teammates and coaches, I managed to get back on the court. It taught me a lot about resilience

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that offers strong programs in business,has a vibrant campus life,provides plenty of internship opportunities to gain practical experience and has a good volleyball team where I can continue playing the sport I love.
