Richmond has good court awareness, almost able to see where the ball is going to go before it does. Her out of system plays keep the ball alive, utilizing pins when the setter is taken out.

Richmond made the long drive from Medford, OR to compete at the Top 250, and she wasted no time making her presence known. During position work, her relentless effort stood out, doing whatever it took to keep the ball in play. We noted an impressive play that got all the athletes on her court excited: she sprinted and laid out for a deep corner tip to left back, and was able to get the ball back in play. Previously an unknown athlete, Richmond’s performance at the showcase proved she’s a competitor to watch. Her work ethic and determination were unmatched, and with continued development, she has the potential to become one of the top DS/Ls in the class of 2028.
