After having to sit out last season due to transfer eligibility rules, she’s primed to step into a significant role this fall, and her performance at the Stock Up Showcase made it clear she’s more than ready for the opportunity. There was an eagerness and competitiveness to her game that stood out throughout the event, and she looked like an athlete ready to make the most of her time back on the court.

As a middle blocker, Tina brings a long, disruptive presence at the net and has the athletic tools to impact the game on both sides of the ball. She moves well laterally, closes blocks with purpose, and uses her length effectively to take away space from opposing attackers. Offensively, she runs quick attacks with great tempo and does an outstanding job working in transition. Even during extended rallies, Tina consistently works to get off the net, reload, and make herself available to her setter again, giving her team another attacking option whenever possible. What impressed us just as much, however, was everything Tina showed away from the net. She was one of the most complete defensive middles at the showcase and looked completely comfortable taking reps in the back row. She showed no hesitation stepping in front of hard-driven attacks, covered ground well, and made defensive plays that you don’t always expect to see from the middle position. That willingness to compete for every ball speaks volumes about her athleticism and overall mentality.

Tina’s motor, versatility, and willingness to contribute in every phase of the game make her an exciting player to watch heading into the season. After waiting for her opportunity, we expect her to make the most of it. We’re looking forward to watching Tina continue to develop and seeing the impact she can make for Chandler this fall.

Offensively, her quick arm swing and powerful attack allow her to terminate at a high level and put constant pressure on opposing defenses. She attacks aggressively, stays efficient in transition, and plays with the kind of decisiveness that makes her difficult to slow down.

Defensively, Tina brings just as much impact at the net. She does a great job being aggressive with her block, pressing over well and taking away angles from hitters. Her lateral movement is especially impressive, allowing her to close blocks quickly and stay involved across the entire front row.
