Stock Up Hitters We Can't Wait to Watch This Season

One of the most exciting parts of every Prep Dig Showcase is getting a glimpse of what's to come. While these athletes all made an impression during the event, we believe they're just getting started. As school volleyball season gets underway, these are the players whose performances left us eager to see how they translate their summer success into meaningful roles for their high school teams.   Whether it's a breakout season, a new opportunity, or continued development, each of these athletes possesses the talent, work ethic, and competitive mindset to make an impact this fall. Here are the Stock Up Showcase hitters we can't wait to watch during the 2026 high school season.    [player_tooltip player_id='942076' first='Abigail' last='Lara'] is the definition of a complete volleyball player. There truly isn't much she can't do on the court, and her well-rounded skill set is a testament to the countless hours she has invested in developing every aspect of her game. She plays with confidence, athleticism, and a level of versatility that allows her to impact a match regardless of where she is on the floor.   Offensively, Abigail brings tremendous power to her swing and is capable of being a legitimate scoring option from either pin. She gets up well, attacks aggressively, and has developed much more than just a powerful arm. She sees the court, understands what the defense is giving her, and has the ability to move the ball around rather than becoming predictable. Whether she's attacking line, finding the deep corners, tooling the block, or simply putting some heat behind the ball, she has multiple ways to score. That versatility makes her the type of hitter a setter can continue going back to in a variety of situations.   Just as impressive as her physical skill set is the passion and competitiveness she brings every time she steps on the floor. There aren't many casual reps with Abigail—she competes, stays engaged, and clearly loves the game. That combination of talent, versatility, and competitive fire gives her an incredibly high ceiling. Abigail has all the tools to make a major impact this school season, and we're excited to see what she accomplishes at Desert Vista.     [player_tooltip player_id='925112' first='Malani' last='Walker'] brought incredible energy and athleticism to the Stock Up Showcase, making her one of the more exciting athletes to watch throughout the day. The first thing that immediately jumped out to us was her impressive vertical. Malani elevates effortlessly and gets off the ground quickly, creating a tremendous advantage for herself as an attacker on the pin. Her explosiveness allows her to play bigger than her size and gives her opportunities to attack from a high contact point against opposing blocks.   That athleticism is paired with a powerful, confident swing that makes her a legitimate offensive threat. When Malani gets a good look at the ball, she isn't afraid to let her arm go and attack aggressively. She showed the ability to generate plenty of pace while also continuing to develop different ways to score. With her ability to elevate and attack from different areas along the net, there is a lot of potential within her offensive game. Beyond the physical tools, Malani's enthusiasm and positive energy were contagious. She brought great vibes to every drill and rally, stayed engaged with the athletes around her, and competed with an energy that was hard to miss. That type of presence can make an impact beyond the stat sheet and is something we always enjoy seeing from athletes at our showcases.   Her overall athleticism also gives her the versatility to contribute in multiple roles and makes her an intriguing player with a very high ceiling. As she continues to add consistency and refine the technical pieces of her game, Malani has all the physical tools and competitive energy to become a major difference-maker. We're excited to follow her progression and see the impact she can make this season at Highland Prep West.     [player_tooltip player_id='886737' first='Tina' last='Henry'] looks poised for a breakout season at Chandler, and we can't wait to watch it unfold. After having to sit out last season due to transfer eligibility rules, she's primed to step into a significant role this fall, and her performance at the Stock Up Showcase made it clear she's more than ready for the opportunity. There was an eagerness and competitiveness to her game that stood out throughout the event, and she looked like an athlete ready to make the most of her time back on the court.   As a middle blocker, Tina brings a long, disruptive presence at the net and has the athletic tools to impact the game on both sides of the ball. She moves well laterally, closes blocks with purpose, and uses her length effectively to take away space from opposing attackers. Offensively, she runs quick attacks with great tempo and does an outstanding job working in transition. Even during extended rallies, Tina consistently works to get off the net, reload, and make herself available to her setter again, giving her team another attacking option whenever possible. What impressed us just as much, however, was everything Tina showed away from the net. She was one of the most complete defensive middles at the showcase and looked completely comfortable taking reps in the back row. She showed no hesitation stepping in front of hard-driven attacks, covered ground well, and made defensive plays that you don't always expect to see from the middle position. That willingness to compete for every ball speaks volumes about her athleticism and overall mentality.   Tina's motor, versatility, and willingness to contribute in every phase of the game make her an exciting player to watch heading into the season. After waiting for her opportunity, we expect her to make the most of it. We're looking forward to watching Tina continue to develop and seeing the impact she can make for Chandler this fall.     [player_tooltip player_id='960292' first='Savannah' last='Hattabaugh'] was a fantastic addition to the Stock Up Showcase and consistently impressed throughout the day. She was steady and effective on both pins, showcasing a mechanically sound approach, good athleticism, and a complete offensive arsenal. Whether she was swinging with power, attacking different areas of the court, or mixing in smart shots when the defense took something away, Savannah demonstrated the ability to score in a variety of ways. She plays with great awareness and doesn't rely on just one aspect of her offensive game to be successful.   What stood out most was her willingness to embrace big moments. Savannah was always looking to be a go-to option for her team and competed with confidence from start to finish. Even when plays weren't perfectly in system, she showed a willingness to take responsibility for the point and find a way to make something happen. That mentality, combined with her versatility on both pins, makes her a valuable offensive option in a number of situations.   Beyond her offensive production, Savannah made positive contributions in serve receive and defense, showing that her impact extends well beyond the front row. She stayed engaged throughout rallies, communicated consistently with those around her, and played with the type of steady presence that helps elevate a team. She's a well-rounded player with a strong foundation and plenty of tools to continue building upon. We're excited to follow Savannah this fall and see the impact she can make at Pinnacle this season.     [player_tooltip player_id='916649' first='Brystol' last='Grusecki'] brought outstanding energy to the showcase from the first whistle to the last, and she was an athlete we consistently found ourselves watching throughout the day. We really enjoyed seeing her contribute from both pins, where her athleticism and explosiveness were on full display. She elevates extremely well, attacks with confidence, and has the physical tools to make an impact from multiple spots along the net.   What impressed us most was the range she showed offensively. Brystol has a deep toolbox and can truly place the ball anywhere on the court. She isn't reliant on simply overpowering a defense—she sees the court well, recognizes open space, and has the ability to change up her shots depending on what is available. That combination of athleticism and volleyball IQ makes her difficult to defend and gives her plenty of ways to score.   Her offensive versatility doesn't stop at the net, either. Brystol showcased a fantastic serve that consistently put pressure on opposing passers, and we really enjoyed seeing what she could do attacking out of the back row. She stays involved in the offense, competes with confidence, and brings an energy that positively impacts those around her. With such a versatile foundation already in place, we're excited to continue watching Brystol develop her game and see just how far her athleticism and competitive mentality can take her.     [player_tooltip player_id='1011264' first='Bryton' last='Bradshaw'] is the perfect combination of power and poise, and she made her presence known throughout the Stock Up Showcase. She's an incredibly versatile attacker who looks comfortable putting the ball away from nearly anywhere across the front row. Whether she's attacking in the middle or being utilized elsewhere along the net, Bryton plays with confidence and gives her setter plenty of options.   Her middle game, in particular, was outstanding. Bryton had one of the quickest and most impactful swings we saw throughout the showcase, getting on top of the ball quickly and attacking with tremendous pace. She does a great job making herself available offensively, working hard in transition and consistently getting back up for another opportunity. Her combination of quickness and power makes her a difficult matchup and allows her to create offense even in fast-paced situations.   Bryton was equally impressive on the blocking side of the game. She moves laterally with ease, tracks well across the net, and does a great job pressing over to take away space from opposing attackers. Her athleticism allows her to cover ground quickly, while her effort in transition ensures she's rarely removed from a play for long.   Beyond the physical tools, Bryton is simply a competitor. There's a noticeable fire in the way she approaches every rep, and you can see her passion for the game in the energy and intensity she brings to the floor. With her versatility, athleticism, powerful arm, and competitive mentality, Bryton has an exciting foundation to continue building upon. We can't wait to follow her development and see where the future of this sport takes her.     [player_tooltip player_id='1007096' first='Bella' last='Fife'] was a fantastic addition to the showcase and quickly established herself as an athlete we wanted to continue watching throughout the day. One of the biggest things that stood out was her ability to remain calm under pressure. No matter the situation, Bella looked comfortable being a go-to option for her team and showed the confidence to take big swings when her team needed her most.   Physically, Bella has fantastic size and great length, which she uses effectively on both sides of the net. Her approach is explosive, allowing her to get up quickly and attack from a strong contact point. Her cross-court swing was especially impressive and proved to be one of her biggest offensive weapons throughout the showcase. At the net, she presses well over the block and uses her length to take away space from opposing hitters.   We also loved the effort Bella put into transition. She works hard to get off the net and make herself available to her setter again and again, even during longer rallies. That motor carries over into every part of her game. Her hustle may have been what impressed us most—there was rarely a ball she wasn't willing to chase down in an effort to extend the play for her team. That combination of size, athleticism, competitiveness, and effort gives Bella an exciting foundation to continue building on. We have a feeling her name will continue popping up on our watch lists, and we're looking forward to following her throughout this school season.     [player_tooltip player_id='1010922' first='Suzannah' last='Russell'] stood out for a number of reasons at the showcase, but the first thing that caught our attention was her ability to track the ball and establish a dominant presence at the net. She has an impressive feel for the blocking game, reading opposing hitters well and consistently putting herself in the right position to make a play. Her ability to track attackers, close space, and press over the net at the right moment makes her a difficult middle to attack around. Her timing is impeccable, and she plays with the discipline and awareness you want to see from the position.   Offensively, Suzannah showed just how versatile she can be in the front row. She isn't limited to one type of set or tempo—she can run quicks, attack 3s, connect on faster tempo sets, and adjust to different situations along the net. That versatility gives her setter plenty of options and makes her much harder for opposing blockers to predict. She also brings a powerful arm to the equation and isn't afraid to challenge a well-formed block, showing the ability to hit with enough pace and strength to score through it.   Suzannah's athleticism complements her technical ability extremely well. She elevates well, transitions with purpose, and consistently works to make herself available as an offensive option. Between her blocking instincts, impressive timing, offensive range, and powerful swing, she has so many of the tools we look for in an impactful middle. She's already made a strong impression on us, and we know Suzannah will continue to be a name we keep a close eye on as she develops.     [player_tooltip player_id='891132' first='Tiana' last='Hester'] has been a name we've enjoyed following over the last season, and her performance at the Stock Up Showcase only gave us more reasons to keep watching. She's an intelligent, impactful player who sees the court extremely well and plays with a confident presence. Tiana understands how to make herself valuable in every rotation, and her ability to contribute in so many different areas of the game continues to stand out.   There is some real talent in Tiana's back-row game. She's incredibly well-versed defensively, looks comfortable and composed in serve receive, and brings another dimension to the offense with her ability to attack effectively out of the back row. She reads the game well, moves with purpose, and isn't afraid to step in and make a play when her team needs it. Her ball control and defensive abilities give her the opportunity to remain an impact player regardless of where she is in the rotation. While she may be undersized compared to some of the pins she competes against, she certainly doesn't play that way. She makes up for it with athleticism, power, and an impressive ability to place the ball. She sees the block and the defense well, allowing her to find open court and score in different ways rather than relying solely on power. That combination of volleyball IQ and offensive versatility makes her a difficult player to defend.   Tiana brings a well-rounded skill set and a competitive presence that consistently allows her to make an impact. We're excited to continue following her development and can't wait to see the difference she makes for Hamilton this season.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   The 2026 Summer Showcases were an incredible way to wrap up the club season, and we couldn't be more excited about the talent we saw on display.
