In a long, difficult rally, Valentina Garcia Valentina Garcia 5'3" | S/DS/L Jupiter Christian | 2029 FL had to make a quick decision off a tough pass, and even though her team lost that match, she stayed calm, kept communicating, and focused only on giving her hitters the best set she could. She didn’t need the outcome to validate the growth; she could see it in how she handled the pressure itself.

That’s an important trait for a setter to demonstrate: the ability to separate her own performance from the scoreboard. Valentina also plays libero and DS depending on need, and she’s equally specific about developing serve receive and court awareness in that role. She describes herself as dependable and coachable, someone who takes feedback and applies it, a combination that tends to matter more to college staffs than any single highlight.

Her focus this summer includes beach volleyball, high school training, and a PrepDig Showcase appearance in Orlando, all aimed at sharpening her consistency and decision-making under pressure.
