Zoe is a libero who is firmly on our radar with her game play this season. She always seems to be involved in every play and when she touches a ball, she seems to always get it on target and keep it alive. She covers a tremendous amount of court in serve receive and defense, showing advanced platform control, quick reactions, and the ability to keep plays alive under pressure. Her passing accuracy allows the offense to stay in system, and terminate at a high clip.

What separates her even further is her effort in coverage and transition play. She does an outstanding job staying engaged after the initial attack, reacting quickly to blocked balls and keeping rallies alive with fearless pursuit and strong instincts around the court. Her communication and leadership help organize the backcourt, and she plays with a calm but competitive presence that stabilizes her team during long rallies and pressure moments.

Zoe combines technical skill, toughness, and volleyball intelligence at a very high level, making her one of the more impactful defensive players in the 2028 class. She has really stood out to us with her overall game play and can’t wait to see her progress in the years to come!

Zoe was a quiet leader who made a loud impact in the backcourt. Her serve consistently applied pressure, and her serve receive stayed steady above standard. She moved with quick feet, read plays early, and defended angles effectively against hard driven attacks.

Zoe described herself as a disciplined and dynamic back row leader, and that description matched her performance. She is currently working on refining defensive angles against kills and continues to elevate her all around game. Her reliability and composure helped stabilize her court throughout the day.

Her instincts, anticipation, and commitment to every play made her a constant and reliable force in the back row. However, Zoe is far more than just serve receive and defense—she is truly the total package.

Beyond her technical skill set, Zoe’s presence and leadership were impossible to miss. She communicated with confidence, took charge in organizing the defense, and brought a steady, composed energy to every rotation. Whether executing routine plays or chasing down seemingly impossible balls, she competed with an all-out, fearless mentality. Her ability to turn difficult digs into clean, attackable balls consistently gave her team an offensive advantage. This showcase highlighted not only Zoe’s defensive excellence, but also her high volleyball IQ, competitive drive, and the type of complete impact she is poised to bring at the next level in the future.

Her consistency in the back row has helped elevate the Knights into one of the top contenders in 5A. Zoe’s court awareness is exceptional — she reads plays with precision, makes defensive adjustments beyond her years, and knows exactly how to position herself to support her hitters.

So far this season, Anderson has tallied an impressive 263 digs and 75 assists, showcasing her ability to impact the game on multiple levels. One of her biggest strengths as a libero is her poise when the team is out of system. Her ball control and placement are elite, consistently setting up perfect opportunities for her teammates to stay aggressive and score. She currently ranks 15th for digs among sophomores.
