The Columbia River junior is a dual threat, she can attack from the right side and run an up-tempo offense from the setter spot. Her willingness to speed things up and keep her sets low, fast, and on target is her biggest strength. Her defense and blocking carry over from her net play as an attacker, making her physical at the net when she sets.
A talented setter/attacker who knows how to win and is an overall excellent player, Young earned first-team 4A KingCo honors this season. Asked to set for North Creek, she delivered and helped the Jaguars to an outstanding season and state trophy. Her athleticism and volleyball IQ let her make the switch with ease, and she racked up huge assist numbers on the season while showing a knack for a momentum changing dump or block. When attacking, she hammers the ball from either pin. Young has a smooth arm swing, and she produces velocity that is hard for defenses to handle.

Rice operated the Lynden offense smoothly this season, and she is one of the more physical setters in the 2024 rankings. Able to slam down an overpass, jump set most passes, and attack from the 5-1, she has a high ceiling. Rice is headed for a big club season and is one to keep an eye on.
Eichert plays for the high-powered Lake Stevens squad and has faced great competition at the club level as well. That experience combined with her set location and athleticism, place her as one of the best setters in the class. She does well on tight passes, keeping the ball out of the net and letting her hitter get a decent swing. In system, she runs a fast tempo and has an excellent sense of when to score herself.
