Flaat is a first-team all-conference setter for Holy Names, she tallied over 300 assists on the season and had an excellent hitting percentage as well. Her serve is a tough jump float that she locates extremely well. She plays defense with grit and is smart when reading opposing hitters.
A bundle of movement and energy, Dela Cruz is great when covering her hitters and running down tips and off speed shots. She adjusts her platform easily and can handle serves and attacks at different angles.
Highlights
A strong beach player, Bobrowicz will be counted on to be a big part of the Lake Washington Kangs next season. With solid size at the opposite and a nice feel for the game, she should contribute right away for a young and improving squad.
Wright is a dual threat, an attacker from either pin and a setter with sweet hands. Her attacking from the right side is particularly effective she is quick off her feet and can take the ball to the line hard, or drop a soft tip on the defense. She uses quick feet and good athleticism to run down the second ball and put up a well-located set.
Highlights
Dorscht has a heavy hand from the outside hitter spot and is a threat coming out of the back row as well. Seattle Prep will be relying on her to help carry the load next season, as several crucial attackers on the team were seniors.
Highlights
A six-rotation outside hitter, Demirjian is solid in all parts of the game. A very good beach player, which translates to her skills on the hardcourt, where she plays excellent defense and had great ball control. She also has good quickness off the floor and plays bigger than her listed height, all the time in the sand shows in her physical play.
Lester has excellent length and is skilled, able to handle the ball from her spot in the middle. With an excellent motor, she will get on the floor defensively while still working pin-to-pin to put up a solid block. She is improving as an attacker and should see a big jump during club this season.
Highlights
Fredrickson was dynamic on the outside for Cedar Park at the state tournament, it would be great to see her in that role full-time during club. She was athletic enough to run a fast tempo on the pin and is a very good blocker.
The Gonzaga Prep junior middle increased her kill totals significantly in the second half of the season, including a 15 kill effort against Lewis and Clark. Her transition footwork improved and she was able to get more pace on her attacks while moving it around the court.
McFadden has a huge upside with her 6’3 frame and a live arm. Bainbridge Island moved her to the outside at times, and she was able to score regularly. She has good, strong hands and improved hitting the slide as the season went on.
