SKEVA 16 Blue: Club Spotlight

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Starting a new club spotlight series in Bowling Green, KY, Southern Kentucky Elite Volleyball Academy (SKEVA) has a stud 16 Blue team filled with talented players. Here are four athletes that really stand out. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='212192' first='Amirra' last='Bailey']- </strong>A name you've heard from around the state, [player_tooltip player_id='212192' first='Amirra' last='Bailey'], proves to be one of the best middle attackers at her age. Playing up this year for the 16s team, Bailey possesses untapped potential for being 6'4 and only 15 years old. She contacts the ball at such a high point that her options to swing, tip, or tool the block are all quite easily there. Not only is she such a talented volleyball player already, but Bailey never stops smiling and loves the game more than anything. Her dream is Texas, but anywhere [player_tooltip player_id='212192' first='Amirra' last='Bailey'] goes will be something special. Watch out for this kid years to come! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='269730' first='Aubrey' last='Sears']-</strong> Another name you've probably heard from Logan County High School, [player_tooltip player_id='269730' first='Aubrey' last='Sears'], is a huge left side hitter for this team. Sears has a fearless attitude, and she's never afraid to swing. Actually, all she wants to do is detonate the ball as hard as she can. Extremely hard to defend, this 6'1 sophomore outside has a lot of potential to be one of the greatest in her region. Sears is the go-to dominant hitter, and she will embrace the pressure by putting the ball away when the team needs it. You don't want to miss Sears and Bailey on the same side of the net! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kathryn Titus-</strong> Coming from a long line of great volleyball players, Kathryn Titus is the glue to this SKEVA 16 Blue team. Every great squad needs a quarterback, a leader, and Titus is just the "it factor" for them. Titus played at Station Camp High School where she was a right side hitter and back up setter and then also was involved in beach this past summer. She's just a very good volleyball player and loves to do it all. It's not about the specialization or being one thing, but she plays the game at a high level, and that's why Titus is extremely fun to watch. Make sure you catch her lead this team from the setting position this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='159358' first='Addison' last='Hart']-</strong> The last player to mention is 6'1 six rotation outside hitter, [player_tooltip player_id='159358' first='Addison' last='Hart'], who is just a beast at the net and in the back row. Hart played for McCracken County this past season and led the team in kills with 438 and averaged 3.95 kills per set. Plus, she tallied 27 blocks, 114 digs, and 77 service aces. If the other players together weren't already good enough, adding Hart to the mix is just the icing on the cake. My favorite swing from Hart is when she runs a 32 and either busts it cross or turns down line. Hart is simply a beast. Keep an eye out for this one! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
