Bohannon is a great extension of the coaching staff on the court. Bohannon constantly communicates with her teammates making sure they are in the right positions. Bohannon continued to set balls on target at the peaks of the hitter swings. Bohannon bettered balls after mistakes. Bohannon said they constantly find ways to gain momentum and the trust they have on the court has helped them make it back to the state title game.

Bohannon (pictured) moved up to fourth because of her leadership on the court. When the KIVA 17 Red coaching staff says something, Bohannon makes sure to relay the message on the court. Bohannon does a great job making outstanding decisions with the fast-paced offense. Expect that to continue on into the fall for her senior season for the 24-time state champion Rockets.

Bohannon (pictured) is turning into a great leader on the court running the offense well for the 17 Red team. Bohannon does a great job finding the hot hitters. She adds in a sound jump serve. She quickly transitions to setting after the serves. Bohannon said she’s been focused on making smart decisions, especially in the tight games.

Bohannon has shown she is ready to lead the quick offense for Assumption in the fall. The Appalachian State commit does a good job moving her feet to make sound sets. Bohannon can set balls short and long at a number of different angles, including back sets. Bohannon also uses her athleticism well to track down balls. Bohannon had 224 assists to go with 49 digs for the state champion Rockets this past fall.

Bohannon, who plays for a national powerhouse, utilizes sold communication skills.

Bohannon has been getting a lot of reps in before school trying to improve her defense during club season and it has showed in the spring. Bohannon goes after balls hard, does quick recoveries on blocked balls and forces opponents to hit balls different directions on the double blocks with some going high or wide. As a setter, Bohannon puts the ball at the peak of the attacker’s peak making it tough for opponents to block them. That includes a back set. Bohannon can also surprise opponents with setter dumps to different parts of the court including the back row.
