Red Rock Rave Weekend Two Players to Watch Vol 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is time for all of our amazing California teams to showcase their abilities and vie for a coveted bid to USA Volleyball's Junior National tournament this summer.&nbsp; Prep Dig California will be attending the Red Rock Rave National Qualifier Week 2 this weekend held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.&nbsp; I can't wait to see some amazing Cali players in action.&nbsp; Here are a few teams and players that we think will be standing out.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><u>17s</u></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Vision 17 Gold</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='161032' first='Taylor' last='Williams'] might be one of the best attackers in the tournament.  She has that “It” factor and can score from anywhere.  You cannot stop her, you can only hope to contain her.  She will get some help from middle Mia Clayton who can run the slide very well.  Setter [player_tooltip player_id='202125' first='Hailey' last='Newell'] can dish some dimes to all locations with great pace.  I love how she uses the back row in play sets out of serve receive.  Outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='536137' first='Katelyn' last='Cook'] is another big weapon for this fantastic squad.  She can score in a variety of ways for them.  [player_tooltip player_id='160982' first='Cleo' last='Hardin'] is a stud right side who can be a difference maker for this team on both ends of the court.  Because this team moves the ball around so well to multiple hitters, it makes it very difficult for any team to know where the ball is coming from and keeps them on their heels. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Houston Skyline 17 Royal</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The setting duo of [player_tooltip player_id='179889' first='Kirra' last='Musgrove'] and [player_tooltip player_id='124139' first='Cayley' last='Hanson'] is one of the best in the tourney in my opinion.&nbsp; They are two lengthy snipers who can thread the needle of any set at any tempo over and over again.&nbsp; High-flyers [player_tooltip player_id='201034' first='Reese' last='Animashaun'] and [player_tooltip player_id='180175' first='Samara' last='Coleman'] are tough to time because of their hang-time.&nbsp; Their arm swings are extremely fast and if the blockers aren't keeping their hands high, there is no way they will catch up to the speed of their down swing.&nbsp; Florida commit middle blocker [player_tooltip player_id='124153' first='Jaela' last='Auguste'] and her counterpart [player_tooltip player_id='519547' first='Rheanna' last='Deen-Jackson'] are HUGE on the defensive side of the ball and patrol the net so well.&nbsp; Libero [player_tooltip player_id='519527' first='Mykayla' last='McMillian'] is a stud floor general and moves so well all around the court tracking down balls and covering her hitters.&nbsp; This team is full of match up nightmares for opponents and if they get rolling, everyone better watch out as they are going to be a problem for the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><u>16s</u></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Rancho Valley 16 Premier</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Outside Hitters [player_tooltip player_id='186528' first='Keonahi'ilani' last='Solaita'] and Morgan Graves are two of the powerhouse attackers who fuel the energy on this team.&nbsp; They both hit at an elite level and can bring the heat from any location on the court.&nbsp; Libero [player_tooltip player_id='179339' first='Saniyah' last='Sobers'] is stellar in the back row and showcases her athleticism on both defense and serve receive.&nbsp; She has a very strong platform that controls the tempo of the pass very well.&nbsp; She also has a stifling serve that flusters opponents.&nbsp; One of their setters is Tobey Allen and she can hit the bulls eye with her location.&nbsp; This team is poised to showcase their skills against a tough lineup of opponents from across the country.&nbsp;&nbsp; They are on a roll so far this year and are stepping it up big time.&nbsp; I will for sure be by their court to watch them compete at a high level.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Drive Nation 16 Red</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Setter [player_tooltip player_id='180167' first='Hannah' last='Beauford'] is as solid as they come and has the leadership skills necessary to keep this team in contention on day three.&nbsp; She earned All Tourney at USA Nationals last year for a reason and has only gotten better.&nbsp; This team has transformed from last year and added a few studs.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='179921' first='Sophia' last='Thornburg'] comes over to this all-star squad from TAV and has been a great addition.&nbsp; She plays opposite of the number three ranked player in the state of Texas, [player_tooltip player_id='180469' first='Suli' last='Davis'].&nbsp; This young lady is a star amongst stars and will be a tough out for any team.&nbsp; Since she moved down to play with her true age group this year, she has been very difficult to stop.&nbsp; Libero [player_tooltip player_id='180168' first='Sarah' last='Mendoza'] can flat out ball in the back row.&nbsp; Right Side/Middle [player_tooltip player_id='180163' first='Taryn' last='Morris'] is one of the high flyers on this team that can shut down any attacker in a one on one situation.&nbsp; She is a load to deal with for sure.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='180179' first='Alex' last='Richter'] is another solid swinging option for this high-powered offense to watch out for.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As always stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.&nbsp;
