[program_tooltip program_id='428662' first='Wisconsin' last='Ice'] 17 National

Ice has been garnering a lot of gold bracket finishes including winning Mizuno March Mania, 2nd place at the Season Opener, and 3rd place in the American Division at the Northern Lights Qualifier. They have been quite battle tested and have what they need to make a run at the Chi-Town Classic. Ice has a plethora of weapons including pins [player_tooltip player_id='122517' first='Ava' last='Krueger'], [player_tooltip player_id='122492' first='Meg' last='Pfannerstill'], and [player_tooltip player_id='159656' first='Grace' last='Taylor']. Meanwhile, the middle is powered by [player_tooltip player_id='122522' first='Aaliyah' last='Krenn'] and [player_tooltip player_id='144787' first='Lyndsie' last='Truitt']. They are all poised to have big senior seasons. Libero [player_tooltip player_id='122518' first='Emily' last='Murkowski'] has been solid and creates really simple and strong angles. [player_tooltip player_id='122507' first='Paige' last='Guld'] and [player_tooltip player_id='122559' first='Courtney' last='Sommer'] have been running the offense. Guld moves the ball quickly from pin to pin while Sommer is a Swiss army knife that has experience swinging from either pin as well as the middle.

[program_tooltip program_id='431537' first='Midwest' last='Penguins'] 15-Elite

These Penguins have won a pair of MWP tournaments but playing up with 17/18s teams. They recently finished runner-up at the Prep Dig Battle at the Bay in the 16 Open division. They also have 3rd place finishes in the 15's and 15 Elite divisions at the Badger Region Qualifier and Nike Cross Court Classic. Middle Blocker, [player_tooltip player_id='277437' first='Olivia' last='Witon'], is a difference-maker with her movement on the net as well as her ability to score and hold the blocker's attention. This roster is full of players that can create a spark for this squad and they are easy to ignite. [player_tooltip player_id='249645' first='Callie' last='Carr'] has proven to be one of the top young right-side hitters in the Badger Region. When she is on you better watch out because she is fearless and knows how to score and win matches. Defensive dynamos [player_tooltip player_id='277439' first='Caroline' last='Abbott'] and [player_tooltip player_id='236329' first='Gracie' last='Fregien'] are studly kamikaze defenders that you can see flying across the court to keep the ball alive. [player_tooltip player_id='277435' first='Hannah' last='Padilla'] is a steady and consistent setter that makes smart choices and moves the ball quickly to her attackers. You can also keep an eye on [player_tooltip player_id='277436' first='Leila' last='Arens'] and [player_tooltip player_id='284006' first='Madie' last='Swier'] on the pins because they are certainly key pieces in playoffs.

Impact 15-National

Impact won the JVA MKE Jamboree in the 15 Club division back in February. More recently they were runner-up at the Prep Dig Battle at the Bay in the 15s division. Their roster is ready to make a deep playoff run and make some noise in Chicago. [player_tooltip player_id='453619' first='Alyssa' last='Koval'], Cailyn Groth, and [player_tooltip player_id='453647' first='Keira' last='Griesbach'] pummel opponents with a relentless attack and keep teams from getting into system. Lydia Moore had a good showing at the Battle at the Bay from the right side. [player_tooltip player_id='388551' first='Samantha' last='Weiss'] and [player_tooltip player_id='388554' first='Ana' last='Emenecker'] are their quality setter and know just which hitters to feed.
