The current #1 ranked libero for Washington in the 2025 class, Gao will compete with her team in the 18 Open at the ECC. Her setting has continued to improve at a rapid pace, she is displaying tremendous accuracy to both pins and the pipe with both her platform and her hands. The Lakeside defender is a true energy giver on the floor, Gao has enthusiasm and positive emotion that is contagious.
Highlights
Taliloa is the hammer on the outside for an excellent NPJ 16 Seattle National team. She played extremely well at the Prep Dig Showcase in Salt Lake City, competing at a high level with the best players in attendance. NPJ comes in seeded #2 overall and will need Taliloa to score consistently to take home the ECC title.

PSVBA 16 Legacy looks for the 6’2 Dent to score from her outside hitter position, and the six-rotation player knows how to deliver. The sophomore from Cascade Christian continues to diversify her attacking, working the sharp angle and drilling shots down the line from both pins.
Alefaio-Foifua brims with confidence playing in the libero spot for NPJ, the current #2 ranked libero will be digging out tough balls all weekend competing in the 16 Open at the ECC. She has superior quickness and is a gritty, tough competitor.
Sheppard continues to develop into a multi-faceted overall player, adding power to her game as an attacker on the right side and deception and decision-making as a setter. She is dumping balls over for kills at the right time, and from off the net to keep the defense guessing. Sheppard is the #10 overall prospect in the class of 2025, her PSVBA 16 Legacy team is a threat to take the top spot this weekend.

Wiese is powerful and has a high contact point, she is playing with confidence and super energy this clue season. The overall #2 middle in the current rankings, she will be a critical component for her Sudden Impact team as they chase a Gold Division finish in the 16 Open at ECC.

Togia has the strong hands you love to see in a setter, she can push a ball to the pin with ease and is extremely effective as a blocker. She has a great understanding and feel for the game, defensively she reads the attackers and pops up tips and roll shots to keep points alive. Togia will be leading her Puyallup Juniors team in the 16 Open Division.
Highlights
The CRU middle has been making big moves this club season, showing her versatility in the back row and as a pin hitter when needed. Marrs is the #14 overall 2025 prospect in Washington, and the sophomore from Ellensburg will be competing with her team in the 16 Open. The 6’4 middle has big-time length, and all the other pieces of her game are developing rapidly.

Eastwood is a skilled dual threat at the setter spot and on the right side for her WVBA team. The Jackson sophomore is fantastic in her set up, and has the strength and confidence to revers the flow or set the pipe from anywhere on the court.

We want to mention just a few of the top 2025 Oregon prospects, these are three of the top 10 in the rankings who will be playing over the weekend. The top two setters will be playing, along with the #2 middle. Emma Adams and Carsen Nies are the Prep Dig Oregon scouts and have just covered the CEVA Regionals and updated the Oregon rankings.
Prep Dig Oregon scout Emma Adams had this to say about the top-ranked 2025 setter from Central Catholic “She takes the court with a relentless competitive drive, showcasing no fear, saving the ball at all costs. Her setting abilities are well beyond her years, exhibiting impressively smooth jump sets and stellar decision-making skills.” She will lead the Athena 16 Gold team in the Open Division.
Our Oregon contributor Carsen Nies had this to say regarding Mitchell after CEVA Regionals, “She is super athletic, can play six rotations effortlessly, and sets with nearly perfect precision and consistency.” Watching Mitchell on video she is deceptive and crafty as an attacker from the setter spot, using both hands to score on dumps and throwdowns at the net. Her OJVA 16-1 team starts the ECC as the top seed in the 16 Open Division.
