Here they are, with (mostly accurate) club information.
Caroline Ward Caroline Ward 6'0" | RS Tri-West | 2027 State IN , 6-0 Pin, Tri-West, Boiler Juniors
Playing as a full-time right side for her club team last spring, I didn’t know what to expect from Caroline this fall. As an outside for the Bruins, she helped lead Tri-West to their first-ever regional championship in volleyball, with no signs of slowing down in the coming years. She led the Bruins in kills in the four-set semi state loss to eventual 3A state champ Providence, and is already inching towards an attack touch of ten feet. Long and lean, Caroline plays at a more mature level than any other pin attacker in this class, making her the #1 recruit for ’27 in the state of Indiana.
Carsyn Comer Carsyn Comer 6'3" | MB Westfield | 2027 State IN , 6-2 MB, Westfield, Munciana
Hot on Caroline’s heels for that #1 recruit status, Carsyn is a game-wrecker for opposing teams and a game-changer if she’s on your squad. Big, strong, physical, and with a high attack touch, her biggest problem this past fall was finding a setter that could set her high enough to max out her length. Already with a ton of Munciana experience as part of the Chipmunks last spring, she’ll be seeing more of that high-IQ volleyball training this coming spring. Leading the Shamrocks in both kills per set and attack percentage this past fall as a freshman (in the toughest volleyball conference and sectional in the state, mind you), the sky is truly the limit for Carsyn.
Anabelle Schembra Anabelle Schembra 5'9" | S Center Grove | 2027 State IN , 5-9 S, Center Grove, Team Indiana
Hyper athletic and a lot of volleyball acuity, Anabelle finished her rookie season at Center Grove running an offense featuring a mixture of youth and experience, all while piling up 750+ assists to go with 200+ digs. Upon arrival, Miss Schembra looked like she belonged all season, with very few signs of immaturity. Her relentless competitiveness, high and accurate hands and willingness to play defense harder than any other setter in this class, Anabelle is primed to be the 5-1 setter for the Trojans all four years of her career. I look forward to how much better she might become this coming spring.
Jenna Dittmer Jenna Dittmer 5'9" | OH Zionsville | 2027 State IN , 5-8 OH/DS, Zionsville, Circle City
A recent transfer from Team Indiana’s 14-1 squad, Jenna is a primary-passing outside with experience in both high-level indoor club ball AND high-pressure outdoor ball. On her new club roster, Jenna is listed as both an outside and a DS, leading this author to believe that she can do both at an equally elite level. Her projections have her as a small-school primary-passing outside or even as an aggressive libero for larger schools at the next level. For now, she can enjoy the training and experience that can have her excel at both, making her indispensable for the next level.
Hayden Mandsager Hayden Mandsager 6'1" | OH Cathedral | 2027 State IN , 6-0 Pin, Cathedral, Rev
Playing the majority of her young high school career on the right side, Hayden is more than capable of playing either pin at the next level. She has the size, strength, high attack point and fast arm to consistently put balls away in any tempo at any time. Playing for Cathedral, she’s going to play one of the toughest schedules in the state naturally, so pressure means nothing to her. Playing for Rev, she’s already receiving high-level training, playing an open-level schedule at every tournament. In short, you can’t discount having a ready-to-attack, six-foot, open-level pin attacker on your roster. She’s worth the watch, and I look forward to watching her development this club season.
