San Antonio Top 250 Expo – Players to Watch Vol 1

After playing a solid role with Cedar Ridge during the high school season, we're looking forward to seeing which new tools she added to her game. Scott is obviously a tall setter and she uses every single benefit that comes with it on the court, but she has the mobility and the technique of a shorter player. She's very good at incorporating strategy into her ball distribution but is also very effective when making last-second decisions. Currently listed at 6'2u0022, she is very strong and athletic and makes a big impact at the net. Bourn can hit different sets in the middle and almost always puts a lot of power into her swings - which paired with her high contact point makes of her a very difficult player to stop when she gets into a rhythm. She has been playing volleyball since she was nine and is very sound technically, but also holds her own at the net, jumping very well and using her technical resources to score points.
