Hitting for NPJ 18 Forefront, Thies combines an insanely explosive approach, a hammer of an arm, and her height at 6'2” to bury the ball. She is an unstoppable weapon from both pins and the pipe. The left-handed pin hits around the block well, often tagging the baseline with her deep attacks. She moves her hits around from line to cross court with ease.
