Their recruiting journey can’t officially start for another year, but they can start attending camps, getting a feel for the next level. I’ve been fortunate enough to watch these athletes live across multiple events and feel like these names along with plenty of their teammates would be great to get on campus.
Logan Vogt Logan Vogt 6’1″ | RS Waukee Northwest | 2027 IA has all the tools to be a big time recruit out of Iowa. She has had a big freshman year for the Waukee Northwest volleyball and basketball teams. She has played club volleyball for Iowa PowerPlex and basketball for All Iowa Attack. She was a key piece to the Waukee Northwest Class 5A state title in Iowa’s largest class. At 6’1 and plenty of length, Vogt can score on either pin. With continued development of her all around game she is going to be a six rotation scoring threat and one of the top attacker in Iowa’s Class of 2027.
I was able to Toft and her Iowa Select 15 Mizuno team play at the Prep Dig Madness in Miltown in the Milwaukee area just over a week ago. I was really impressed with her ability to score points with various tempos. She can swing and score on the outside in serve receive. In the middle she is highly efficient with a variety of tempos, establishing a great connection with setter Leah Caffery Leah Caffery 5’7″ | S Wilton | 2027 IA . She is also able to score off one foot going behind Caffery to run a slide. Her upside is big time with her length and could see a future at any attacking position.
Another middle blocker to watch in the Class of 2027 is Hattie Galloway Hattie Galloway 6’1″ | MB City, Iowa City | 2027 IA who preps at Iowa City High. She’s had a big start to her high school career with significant varsity contributions in volleyball and basketball. She is part of the Iowa Rockets 15R team who finished second in 15 USA at the Windy City Qualifier. Her length, athleticism and physicality is a huge part of her game where she is continuing to improve each time she steps on the court.

I was really impressed with Bollier as a libero at the Windy City Qualifier for her Six Packer 15s team out of the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area. As a freshman at Iowa City Regina she had a monster year as one of the top liberos in the Iowa Class of 2027 which is loaded with some high level libero prospects. Bollier has great court command where she has a presence with her team, she connects, she talks, she’s not afraid to take the first contact. She is automatic in serve receive and has great platform control. Put a star next to her name in University Athlete.

I think it was until a week or two ago I just assumed Bicknese was a 2026 because she plays on the Vital 16-1 Gold team who has qualified 16 Open at USAV in Vegas. I was thinking she would be a high level libero for colleges to call this June. She will have to wait another year as a 2027. She preps at Chatfield, a small school in Southeast Minnesota. She has a ton of range, picking up the tips, the out of system balls, and finding a way to get her side of the net in system.

Schulte is a right side for MN Select 15-1 where she can terminate from anywhere on the court. She is a big time leaper who can score points and be a really strong block where she is a mismatch for the other side of the net. As a right side, she is also capable of playing six rotations, consistent in serve receive and definitely an outlet to score points. MN Select 15-1 currently has a bid to USAV in Vegas in the 15 National Division. I was really impressed with this group at Triple Crown back in February and am looking forward to seeing their improvement live. This group has plenty of 2027s to get on campus this summer.

Christ plays with quite a level of maturity for a 15s player. She was the libero Chaska High School in the Southwest Metro of Minneapolis. What really elevates her game is her length and athleticism which allows her to cover a huge range. She anticipates well, takes command, and is an impact player. Northern Lights 15-1 has a bid to Vegas in the National Division along with their Minnesota counterparts in MN Select.
Bjorkland is a swiss army knife type of player where she can set and swing. Northern Lights seems to have a tradition of athletes who can play a little bit of everything. At 6’0, Bjorklund has plenty of length where she receives the ball high as a setter and can get everyone involved. As an attacker, she is typically hitting from the right side where she is very terminal. She is accustomed to high level training and competition. This team can use her as a front row setter as well where she can really be dynamic.
