Our second look at the prospects on the pins kicks off with a Top Performer from Spokane and covers players from Idaho and Montana. The PNW showed up in Salt Lake, with Upper Left prospects delivering great performances all weekend!
Phipps was named a Top Performer at the Showcase, and the smooth rights side showed off an ever improving game in Salt Lake and at the Evergreen Regionals in Spokane. The Ridgeline sophomore has a high contact point and is able to adjust to sets and put heat on her swings. Phipps will make decisive moves as a blocker, and has the length and hands to rack up stuff blocks on opposing pins.

Highlights
The Club South 16 prospect plays with focus and has developed as a top scoring option for her team. Nichols is swinging with confidence out of the pipe and from the pin, she takes advantage of seams in the block. At the Showdown, Nichols was rock solid in serve receive; she has a strong platform and can handle pace or shuffle quickly to handle serves outside her frame.
Highlights
Luinstra was wearing #220 at the Showcase and she had a terrific run playing on the outside. The 2026 has a quick and powerful arm, and is part of an excellent CRU Max 17 team that won a bid to Nationals at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier. At 5’11”, she has the height and athleticism to hammer down kills and hold her own as a blocker. Luinstra will be a key part of a Wenatchee team looking to defend a state title in the 4A ranks next fall.
The towering right side from Idaho Crush and Kuna High School was a dominant blocking presence at the Showcase and the tournament. She jumped in and showed her versatility as a middle, finding angles as an attacker and pressing with her 6’3″ length as a blocker. Hollister has a solid feel for dropping a tip into an open spot, and her power should follow as the sophomore continues to grow as an offensive force.
Emma Ormsby
Emma Ormsby
Ormsby is a 2026 RS/MB from McCall-Donnelly in Montana. She played with a strong press on her block, and has very good size and strength; ideal in a right side. There is a high ceiling for the sophomore, she is an excellent athlete with a solid game on the basketball court as well.
The sophomore for the Ridgeview Ravens knows how to score, Cummings has an aggressive approach and is willing to swing away. The Central Oregon Volleyball Club outside has awesome energy, and uses that positive emotion to fire up her team and fuel her own high powered game. She worked hard on defense, and showed confidence running the back line from the middle back spot.
Nula Anderson | OH | 2026 | Bozeman High School | Empire Volleyball Club (MT)
Anderson has an excellent arm swing and the size, speed, and athleticism to score over and around any block. The sophomore from Bozeman can line up any spot in the front row and terminate; she is an impressive 2026 prospect. At 6’1″, she is an effective and aggressive blocker, and Empire finds her out of the pipe to mix up their offensive attack. Anderson showed good vision, working the ball around the block if she wasn’t hammering it straight over the top!
