CEVA Regionals Recap: Standout 2027 Setters

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The culminating tournament for the CEVA season took place the weekend of May 4th and PrepDig was lucky enough to be in attendance! Friesen is an excellent all-around player, and she excels in the setting position. With great, strong hands and solid footwork, Friesen places her sets really well. Cross showcased a nice, soft touch on the ball and solid setting placement during the tournament. When setting from the back row, Jacoby exhibited great hands and consistent placement. McGregor is a solid setter, with nice hands and quick footwork. The Webfoot 16-1 Elite setter ran a 6-2 alongside [player_tooltip player_id='509797' first='Mallory' last='McGuire']. From the back row, Rohman exhibited great, strong hands, pushing the ball from pin to pin. She also moved her sets around well at a fast tempo. At Regionals, Rajan set across front row, using her height at 6'1” to make offensive plays. The leftie setter showcased a soft touch on the ball, placing her sets well. When setting from the back row, Becker is super quick, easily getting to the ball and placing it well. She has no trouble pushing her sets from pin to pin.
