Iowa Rockets 16R, Open Division
This squad features a deep pool of talent throughout its rotations. Recent Iowa State verbal commitment Reese Naeve Reese Naeve 5'9" | OH Iowa City Regina Catholic | 2026 State #132 Nation IA leads the way as a six-rotation dynamo. The Iowa City Regina student-athlete does everything well.
Isabelle Kremer Isabelle Kremer 6'3" | OH Pleasant Valley | 2026 State #99 Nation IA is a versatile front-row performer with a wicked swing from both pins and the middle. The Pleasant Valley standout defends well all along the net with length and athleticism.
Emily Henderson Emily Henderson 5'8" | S Clear Creek Amana | 2026 State IA stands out for her setting here and at Clear Creek Amana. She’s growing physically and as a volleyball player, contributing in multiple areas on offense and defense.
This team is at its best when Kennedey Whitford Kennedey Whitford 5'5" | DS/L Solon | 2026 State IA is getting it done in the back row. Iowa Select 16 Mizuno, Open Division
I watched this group compete in St. Louis at its president’s day classic, where I also caught Rockets 16R. Select won the open division there.
These two Iowa teams could make some noise in Florida. This Select Mizuno squad is loaded with talented student-athletes. It starts in the middle with the imposing Ellah Derrer Ellah Derrer 6'4" | MB Davenport Assumption | 2026 State #149 Nation IA , who’s also a two-way force at Davenport Assumption.
Derrer’s presence keeps opponents on edge and raises her teammates’ level of play. And they rise to the occasion
Maren Ouellette Maren Ouellette 6'0" | OH Pleasant Valley | 2026 State IA and Mckenzie Moeller Mckenzie Moeller 5'9" | OH North Scott | 2026 State IA stand out as six-rotation performers with impressively well-rounded skill sets. Their contributions from all around the court are essential to this team’s success.
Libero Ainsley Haedt Ainsley Haedt 5'4" | DS/L North Scott | 2026 State IA and Addison Allen Addison Allen 5'7" | S North Scott | 2026 State IA , a setter, are rock solid in their roles. They’re fundamentally sound, consistent and mesh well with their teammates.

CIA 16 Black, Premier Division
If I had to pick a club that made the most progress, top to bottom, in the last year, CIA would be in the conversation. Scouting several age groups throughout the spring, its top teams are very competitive.
Delilah Kroyman Delilah Kroyman DS/L Waverly-Shell Rock | 2026 State IA (Waverly-Shell Rock) provides back-row consistency for this outfit. Brylea Metzgar Brylea Metzgar MB AGWSR | 2026 State IA (AGWSR) is a sound all-around player that does her best work at the net as a two-way contributor.
Natalie Natalie Wollmuth | 2026 IA Mensen and Lauren LeClere Lauren LeClere MB West Delaware | 2026 State IA (West Delaware), Avery Corcoran Avery Corcoran RS Waverly-Shell Rock | 2026 State IA (Waverly-Shell Rock), Kampbell Bryte Kampbell Bryte 5'10" | OH Dubuque Hempstead | 2026 State IA (Dubuque Hempstead), Aspen Sparks Aspen Sparks OH State IA (Cedar Falls) and Lydia Hook Lydia Hook DS/L Grundy Center | 2026 State IA (Grundy Center) are among the other contributors heading to Orlando.
Dubuque Insanity 16-1 National, Classic Division
Lilee Boriskey Lilee Boriskey 5'9" | S Edgewood-Colesburg | 2026 State IA handed out 848 assists with 117 kills, 187 digs and 44.0 blocks as an Edgewood-Colesburg sophomore last year. Koye Jaeger saw varsity action for Monticello in ’23, and Anna Schockemoehl should help out the Dubuque Wahlert varsity this fall.
This Insanity team is unique in that it blends student-athletes from Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin.
