We will have six 2025s participating in the first showcase session and they will get the opportunity to play in front of scouts and college coaches. There’s a ton of talent in this class and many players attending the showcase are ranked and/or playing at Nationals. Here are the players you want to add to your watchlist.
Kennedy Cooper

Kennedy is one of the most explosive middles in Nevada. She transitions off the net quickly, always ready to hit 1s, slides and 3s with ease. Cooper can jump out the gym and swings so fast that she can beat blockers before they get set. She is an energetic player that plays just as hard on defense as she does offense, racking up big blocks for her team. Cooper finished the school season with a .364 hitting %, 53 blocks and is currently the #3 overall player in the class of 2025. She is headed to Nationals with Vegas Aces 17UA.
Rachel Schwartz

Schwartz is an elite setter and contributed significantly to her team’s success throughout the club season. Her sets are very precise and because of her consistency, the hitters on the team have built a lot of confidence in her. Her setter dump attacks are sneaky, frequently catching opponents off guard. Schwartz’s finesse, strategic decision-making and leadership qualities are what makes her one of the best setters in the class of 2025. She is currently ranked 12th in the Nevada ‘25 class and headed to Nationals with the Vegas Aces 17UA.
Da’Maia Bryant Da’Maia Bryant 6'0" | MB Legacy | 2025 State NV
MB | 6’0” | School – Legacy; Club – Underrated VBC | Uncommitted
Da’maia is an exciting middle blocker to watch. She excels at powerful swings to her opponents’ open corners and racks up aces with her impressive float serve. Her ability to read hitters’ arms results in more blocks or critical touches that slow the ball down. Bryant is a dominant force at the net and she epitomizes the qualities of a true middle blocker. The ranked hitter is expected to shine at the showcase.
Madelyn Neibaur

Madelyn shines in the middle as a smart, effective attacker. She complements her offense abilities with strong blocks on defense. Neibaur is great at hitting deep corners while skillfully mixing in tips around the block. Her height and wingspan provide a significant advantage in blocking, leading to multiple roofs during matches. She has been trained very well in swing blocking, which is very common amongst D1 college teams. She ranks as one of the top players in Nevada and will be exciting to see at the showcase.
RS/DS | 5’10” | School – Shadow Ridge; Club – Vegas Aces 17UA | Uncommitted
Ruby is the best right side in her class and doubles as a reliable defensive specialist. The elite hitter harnesses a ton of power behind her hits, killing it down the line or hard cross court. She racks up points both with kills and big blocks at the net, making her consistently one of her team’s top overall scorers. When she rotates to backrow, you get a top server and an elite DS in right back. Her overall game is very impressive and I believe this player will be off the market very soon. Engert is currently raked 9th in the class of 2025 and headed to Nationals with Vegas Aces 17UA.
Leimaile Lasike

Shadow Ridge | 2025

MB/RS | 6’2” | School – Shadow Ridge; Club – Tstreet LV 17-Chris | Uncommitted
Leimaile is a versatile hitter that can play both middle and oppo effectively. She has a quick arm swing and does a great job beating blocks and hitting to deep holes. She is a powerful attacker, but still has the vision to tip or send an offspeed ball over as needed. She contributes big blocks and high energy on the court. Lasike is currently on the 2025 watchlist, but likely will move up in our next update after catching her in action at the showcase and Nationals with Tstreet LV 17-Chris.
