10 Rising Attackers To Watch In Iowa’s Class 4A

performer for Sergeant Bluff-Luton and followed that up with a huge club season for MVP out of the Sioux City area where she was a 16 American Division All Tournament Team Selection.  She has plenty of athleticism and physicality where she can swing from anywhere on the court, front or backrow, She will be a big time leader for the Warriors who are looking to get back to the state tournament State team.  She will be looking to cap off a solid career with a big senior season.  At 5'7, she can flat out fly and is absolutely electric on the outside.  She can go line, cross, she does it all with a really solid skill set where she has played club at Premier Nebraska out of Omaha.  Glenwood always plays a rugged schedule which includes a tough conference slate in the Hawkeye Ten with top teams out of Southwest Iowa.  They went 30-11 and 9-1 in the conference.  Hernandez will look to connect with her senior counterpart in setter [player_tooltip player_id='730673' first='Allison' to build off a really strong sophomore campaign where she led the team with over 250 kills.  Borwick is a multisport athlete at Nevada and has also played club for IPVA.  The Cubs were champions of the Heart of Iowa Conference and finished 24-14.  They will be a favorite once again in their conference and always have a strong tournament schedule too.  They will have quite a matchup on September head into 2024 with some big goals.  Mya Rimrod will be a key piece to this puzzle as one of their top attackers.  She had over 200 kills and digs in 2023 where the Comets went 29-7.  Another attacker Lights Qualifier in Minneapolis this past January where she played for Iowa PowerPlex.  In the spring she would go on to win the Class 3A state high jump title.  She has so much length and athleticism that she will be really dangerous this upcoming high school season.  Warmuth was a key piece to the success of ADM's run to the state tournament in 2023 with just under 200 kills.  The Tigers will co-champions of the North Central Conference with a relatively young roster in 2023.  They return four of their top five attackers led by incoming junior [player_tooltip player_id='261087' first='Mia' last='Schluter'].  Schluther is the type of outside hitter who can make something out of nothing.  She can score in and out of system and from the outside and right side.  Humboldt should be in the be playing with something to prove in 2024.  There are big time athletes at every position and an attacker who could be on the rise is Addison Kleis.  Kleis has played club volleyball with other Heelan athletes at MVP and their chemistry will be key to the season.  In 2023 she had nearly 200 kills.  The Crusaders have the balance, depth, and experience to get back to Coralville in 2024. </p> 2022.  They were runner up finishers in the Siouxland Conference which always has some of the top teams in Northwest Iowa who eventually end up finishing high at the state level.  [player_tooltip player_id='730849' first='Margo' last='Schuiteman'] led this squad in 2023 with 234 kills on the season while also collecting over 300 digs.  Schuiteman will be a key leader for the Warriors who She is an explosive outside who can go high hands or find an open spot in the deep corner.  Reagan Stensrud is another point scorer for the Tigers who had a big season in 2023.
