The courts at the [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] Volleyball Academy were jam-packed and overflowing with energy.

Here is the second of multiple scouting reports on Kansas High School Prospects who competed in the event.

This report focuses on seven players who posted “Level Up” performances and as a result, should see their overall Prep Dig ranking improve.

Stay tuned to Prep Dig for one more report today and reports on the All-Deck All-Star Squads tomorrow.

[player_tooltip player_id='492580' first='Lauren' last='Crotinger'], 5'8”, OH, Jefferson West, ‘25

Crotinger was one of six members of the class of 2025 to participate in the event. She is currently ranked No. 66 overall. She had a couple of powerful hits during the scrimmage portion of the event and played better defense than I have seen from her in the past. She is being recruited by multiple NAIA programs, and I would not be surprised to see interest in her continue to pick up.

[player_tooltip player_id='493383' first='Carly' last='Hutfles'], 5'10”, OH, Horton, ‘25

Hutfles is currently ranked No. 81 overall in the class of 2025. She will see in an increase in her ranking during the next update as she had a stellar performance at the Prep Dig Showcase. She stepped up her game from the last time I saw her. She fed off the sets from the elite setters at the showcase and accepted the challenge to not back down from hitters from larger schools and elite club teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='261112' first='Lauren' last='Fenemore'], 5'7”, DS/L, Mill Valley, ‘26

I scouted Fenemore during the 2023 Missouri and Kansas Showcase. She is currently ranked No. 78 overall in the class of 2026. She continues to show her passion and dedication to the event. She communicated well during the defensive drills I watched. She is quick and would be a solid addition as a libero for a junior college or NAIA program.

[player_tooltip player_id='446317' first='Clara' last='Morgan'], 5'6, S, Shawnee Heights, ‘27

Morgan has been going beast mode in the weight room this offseason and it showed during the event. She has proved to be an accurate setter when previously scouted. However, she looked a step quicker and has improved her upper body strength. Morgan is already ranked No. 26 overall and is the No. 6 setter in the 2027 Kansas Class. She's the type of team-first player I would want to build around if I still coached.

[player_tooltip player_id='446318' first='Harriet' last='Dean'], 5'7”, S, Jefferson West, ‘27

Dean is currently ranked No. 45 overall in the Prep Dig Kansas Class of 2027 rankings. She is another player I have seen quite often, but she looked even more impressive while playing with the elite players at the showcase. Dean recorded 247 assists and 123 digs in 73 sets of varsity action last fall. Dean's performance at the showcase is further evidence of how small-school prospects can shine in big groups and helps me warm up to the club ball and showcase scene.

[player_tooltip player_id='536308' first='Haedyn' last='Lynnes'], 5'4”, DS/L, Spring Hill, ‘28

I scouted the Spring Hill prospect in the MO/KAN Tournament at Washburn University. Lynnes debuted in the 2028 rankings as the No. 1 libero in Kansas. She proved to me during this showcase that she has the skills to remain in that lofty spot, but also the athletic ability and volleyball IQ to be considered for a higher spot overall. She was not at all intimidated by the level of quality hitters at the combine.

[player_tooltip player_id='570438' first='Sophia' last='Wichman'], 5'8”, DS/L, Hayden, ‘28

I have seen Wichman play basketball and volleyball before the Showcase. However, she stood out multiple times during the Prep Dig event. With so many athletes in attendance, she made me double-check the roster twice after impressive digs during team play. The Hayden prospect is young, athletic, and fun to watch.
