Breaking Down the Outside Hitters in the Class of 2026

<p>One of the best parts about the outside hitters in this class is how well-rounded they are. The #1 ranked athlete in the class is an outside hitter who could also be a high-level libero. We have three outside hitters ranked in the top ten and added several to our list this update. This article will break down who is committed, stock risers, names to know, and new additions. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Who is committed?</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Peyton is the #1 recruit in Wisconsin. She is an efficient and lethal pin hitter, one of the best passers in the state, and has superb serve reception. She is committed to Creighton, which is regularly ranked in the Top 25 in the country. No matter where she is on the court, Peyton makes an impact and is a leader in her play. She is the kind of athlete who never backs down from a challenge. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Marlee is an explosive and dynamic pin hitter. She has a deep toolbox of shots that she can hit no matter the size of the block in front of her. Marlee is a high-level 6-rotation athlete who is consistent yet is not afraid of making big plays. She is committed to Maryland in the Big 10 and will be joining high school teammate Lilly Wagner on the east coast in a few years!</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Natalie never misses a beat on the court. She is a huge energizer, makes big plays, and has a powerful swing in the front and back row. Natalie is a fun player to watch because of her high volleyball IQ and ability to execute on the court. She committed to Princeton earlier this fall. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Stock Risers</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Mallory has been on our radar pretty much from the start of her prep career, but she took her game to a whole new level in the past year. It feels like all of the pieces of her game have come together into one mega 6-rotation outside hitter. She is a playmaker and an impactful leader on the court. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Camille is an efficient outside hitter. She plays to win and holds nothing back when she is on the court. She makes smart choices and can execute both in and out of system. Camille can also play six rotations and is an all-around energizer and impact athlete. She is an unstoppable force once she gets going. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Della is a powerhouse pin hitter who is another energizer. She has a powerful swing and puts great pace on the ball. Her ability to manufacture points from the beginning through the end of matches has been impressive and she has had a great junior season with Marshfield so far. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Names to Know</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Olivia has been working her way up the rankings for several years, and she only keeps improving. She is a name to know because she consistently earns top-performer recognition at events she attends, and she finds ways to impact her team in any way she is needed. She is a team player who is athletic and versatile on the court. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Kaitlin is a player I have had the opportunity to see numerous times over the past few seasons. She has really developed her all-around game, and it is showing this high school season where she is hitting over 0.200 as a pin hitter. She is one of the kill leaders on her team and leads the team in service receptions and digs. She is a dynamic athlete who really does it all as a 6-rotation player. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Claire is an athlete on the rise and a name to know in this class. She is a second-year varsity player at Arrowhead and has already far surpassed her stats from last season. She has really improved in her shot selection and execution. Her reliability and consistent playmaking set her apart. She is also a great blocker and has good court awareness. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Additions</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Addison has been an explosive addition to a talented DSHA team. She is second on the team in kills and ranks pretty high on the stat line for other areas of the game as well. Addison is an energizer on the court and a player who has already had a massive impact in arguably the top program in the state. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Madelynn first caught my eye with how consistent and effective her pass to attack was. She is smooth and clean on the court and can make a dime pass and then transition quickly to manufacture a point. Her disciplined passing really sets her apart, and she can place her swings very well. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Spencer is very efficient. She has a high reach and quick arm swing. When she is on the pin, she is disciplined yet isn't afraid to take risks with her swings. She is hitting over 0.300 this high school season for Westosha Central and is one of their top point earners. </p>
