Offensively, she has been doing good as well, scoring both aces (43) and kills (107). Matthews improves with each game, showcasing more of her overall skill set. Not only has she tallied 51 blocks so far this season, but she has also been accumulating kills, aces and getting the opportunity to spend much more time on the back row. Her offensive and defensive performance has been absolutely explosive. She is a heavy presser and agile at the net. Although her blocking numbers aren't as high as others, she more than compensates with the best hitting percentage in Nevada (.578), along with 177 kills and 45 aces so far this season.
