Willow is by far the most explosive hitter and one of the top defenders in the 2025 class. Without a doubt, she’s a player you can count on to get the job done, whether the team is up or down. The middle posted the best hitting percentage in the state and led her team to the 5A Southern League playoffs. Willow has been a powerhouse all season, from game one to their most recent win against a tough Centennial High School. Her offensive and defensive performance has been absolutely explosive. She is a heavy presser and agile at the net. Although her blocking numbers aren’t as high as others, she more than compensates with the best hitting percentage in Nevada (.578), along with 177 kills and 45 aces so far this season. She can only improve from here and could very well join the 60+ block club before the end of the season.

She’s a powerhouse at the net, excelling both offensively and defensively. Her impressive .578 hitting % is the best in Nevada and she is the only player in the state hitting over .500. Additionally, she sits at #17 for kills (177) and #8 for total blocks (50) across the state. Keep an eye on this Portland State commit—she’s definitely one to watch in the game!

Willow climbed one spot in our latest rankings. After an outstanding junior season where she ranked second in the state for hitting percentage, she doubled down with a very impressive club season as well. The Portland State commit is a dominant force in the middle, effectively blocking hitters and delivering quick hits past the block to deep corners. Willow was also one of the small group of players invited to the UA Next Camp Series. She is set for another great year at Arbor View.

Willow demonstrated impressive versatility during the camp, excelling in multiple front row positions. While I’ve primarily seen her as a middle blocker, she showcased her skills on the outside position as well. Her height makes her an ideal player in the middle, but her performance at the camp suggests she could thrive in any front row role. In 3-on-3 sessions, she also displayed her defensive capabilities by successfully digging balls from powerful hitters. This camp provided a valuable opportunity to see Willow’s individual strengths and adaptability beyond what I’ve observed in club games.
