Let's expand our list of players climbing in the latest Nebraska 2026 rankings.

We've already covered a handful of tournament standouts who ascended through their postseason performances, but several more names have yet to enter the conversation. As we steamroll closer to the start of the club season, these emerging 2026s have proven their readiness to log a high-impact 2025 campaign.

Booth was right in the race to be Nebraska's overall "assist champion" in 2024. She amassed over 1,100 helpers in her first year as Elkhorn North's sole leader at setter. This massive total was good enough for 10.5 assists per set, and Booth piled up her stats in various ways. Her quick feet and smooth hands allowed Booth to force middle sets on less-than-ideal passes. She could also deliver 'go' sets to the outside with perfect tempo and location. These skills will remain a storyline when Booth competes with Premier Nebraska 17 Gold this spring.

This is another chance to bring up Sumner's momentous move to [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 17 Elite for the 2025 club season. The Elkhorn South middle blocker took a huge step forward this fall while completing a fully healthy season for the Storm. She built off the incredibly high hitting efficiency she logged as a sophomore in 2023, hitting 0.311 as a junior. Sumner was particularly adept at 'gap' sets that allowed her to work in between opposing hands. Her terminal arm helped lead Elkhorn South to the Class A championship match, and this is just the beginning of Sumner's rise.

Kopf has distinguished herself among an elite group of 2026 liberos at [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last='']. The Tri-County defender has moved up to VCN 17 Elite and will join Sumner on the team's new-look lineup. It's bound to be a productive squad, especially with Kopf offering her stable platform and persistent leadership. She had one of Nebraska's best dig totals this fall with over 550 for the Trojans. Whether we're talking about floor defense or serve-receive, Kopf will bring her best to the biggest stages for 17 Elite.

[program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] is bringing plenty of defensive depth to its 17s rosters. Wemhoff is eager to lock down the VCN 17 Black backcourt after a productive junior season with Lincoln Pius X. The experienced defender racked up over 450 digs while competing with one of Nebraska's most productive digging units. Wemhoff is also a consistent asset in serve receive who will bring plenty of range and technique to the 17 Black end line.

Let's bring Nebraska Elite into the mix. Brandt was a pivotal piece of the club's talented 16s squad this year, particularly at regional events like the Midwest Power League. This talented libero's dominance extended into her junior year with Fremont, where she averaged an incredible 5.3 digs per set in the team's contrasting jersey. The Tigers claimed the No. 3 seed in Class A behind relentless ball control and transition offense. Brandt can help both phases with Nebraska Elite.

We hadn't forgotten about Ammon's dominant 2024 season with [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'], but last week's Top 250 Expo was a stark reminder of this middle blocker's sky-high potential. She lit up last week's showcase with a rare combination of physicality and lateral quickness. Ammon has shown her range as a middle blocker and a right-side hitter throughout her club career. This versatility was impossible to miss as [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] hoisted a 16 Club championship trophy at AAU Nationals this summer. That's a high bar to set for the upcoming season, but Ammon is ready to raise the standard.

Blomstedt is another star player we discussed after our Top 250 Expo in La Vista. Her six-rotation prowess was on full display as she transitioned between positional drills and team competitions at our event. We got another look at Blomstedt's range when she represented [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] during the club season and was nearly unstoppable at certain points of the season. She has gained ground in our latest 2026 rankings and could go even further next year.
