Yesterday, we covered a group of Nebraska 2027s who surged into the spotlight through the year's third Midwest Power League. These emerging athletes prove how many stock-rising opportunities exist in the club calendar—even for the state's seasoned veterans.

This brings us to the 2026s. As we've reiterated throughout the past couple of weeks, the Class of 2026 is still loaded with players eager to make an impact at the next level. Here are a few who stood out at one of the Great Plains Region's most prominent events.

Eggerling is a true wildcard athlete in the [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 17 Black lineup. She earned some reps on the pin during Sunday's Power League and showcased some serious heat on the left side. However, this Lincoln Northwest junior can play any position along the net and has ample experience as a middle blocker. Her dynamic game propelled 17 Black to its bracket run at NLQ, and the team hasn't slowed down since. We're eager to see where Eggerling's long-term position is.

McMahon has been on our 2026 radar for a while. Her smooth setting and invaluable leadership have highlighted many Nebraska Elite outings at national qualifiers. This year's Nebraska Elite 17 Motion squad has been a Midwest Power League mainstay, so we've caught up on everything that makes McMahon such a natural setter. She gets her feet to the ball and isn't afraid to take risks when distributing the offense. That mentality will suit 17 Motion well in the upcoming gauntlet of events.

Middle blockers have been running the show across several different Nebraska Juniors teams. Pieper's physical presence has offered a huge boost to the Nebraska Juniors 17 Red frontcourt, as evidenced by the team's runner-up finish in this month's 17 Club division. This Lincoln Northeast standout uses her quick footwork to get ahead of opposing blockers and create open seams. Pieper can also stretch the offense on the slide and has incorporated some off-speed shots into her game. 17 Red is gaining momentum at the right time.

Finally, we're able to reunite with the new-look South Central NE 17 Black team. This small-town crew has given us plenty of thrills over the past couple of seasons, particularly at Kansas City's Show Me Qualifier. Vavra joins the crew for 2025 and brings a ton of length and athleticism to the net. The Ord native put on a blocking clinic at the Midwest Power League and provided a spark at crucial moments in the tournament. 17 Black is eager to replicate past success and get back to its rightful place at GJNC.

Liebentritt keeps expanding her influence in the Premier Nebraska 17 Black lineup. She's a hard-hitting left-side attacker who is particularly good at cutting sharp angles inside the block. This Omaha Skutt Catholic standout is willing to handle a ton of serve-receive volume and can fluidly go from pass to attack. We even saw Liebentritt thrive on the inside 2-ball at the Midwest Power League. She does it all.

DeyErmand has been climbing the Class of 2026 ladder since her junior campaign with Millard South High School. She had a productive fall season while setting the Patriot offense, allowing further growth in the Club Legacy gym. DeyErmand and 17 Alpha have logged some impressive results in the 2025 club campaign, including a runner-up finish at the third Midwest Power League. Club Legacy's setter depth is becoming one of its biggest strengths.
