2028 Hitters Moving Up the Rankings

As a middle, Smith is a solid anchor for her [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] team at the net. Currently in the top-10 in the Ohio 2028 rankings, she has good polish to her offensive tools as this stage. As this team likes to run her quick attack a little higher she has good command of her transition effort and in developing timing to be able to swing at the top of her jump with a high contact point. Smith is equally fluid and impressive in front of her setter and through a slide option to the right pin.     As a middle that can score through different options, Basham works hard to get herself available. She gets rewarded for that in how her setters give her ample opportunities in front and overhead off one foot. She is very active from her defense to transition with good ability to track the ball and find her way back to the net to be available. She is best when she can develop a runway that gives her room off the net as her length then allows her to swing with good pace and direction to both wings of the court.     Regula is one of those primary hitters on the left side that competes with great purpose and a gritty quality to do what her team needs. Her skill foundation is complete in what she provides around the court. She has good footwork in the transition phase to create a good runway with momentum and lift to utilize her 5'11 frame well. At the end of her approach she has a nice double-arm lift that leads to some deceptive arm speed to contact with force and range.     Draper has made some big gains over the course of the club season so far. At 6'1, she is an Ohio pin in this class with some of the best length. With a good foundation in place, her continued development to get her movement pattern more fluid and in time with the variety of tempo she she sees at the pin will make a big difference to allow her touch point to be an advantage more often. Draper certainly has potential to become a highly effective primary attacker over the course of her prep career.     At 5'9, Radaszewski (*pictured) can make a big statement at the left pin. The patience she has in her transition work is key to her getting her feet to the ball wherever it is located. That step-close work and balance in the air allow her to swing with good control including ripping the ball through space with good speed or being able to tool defenders with that same pace. Expect that she will be scoring a lot of points over the course of her career.
