Can’t-Miss 2027s from Great Plains Region Bid Tournament

She makes excellent defensive reads, can hit on the right side, and even makes backcourt contributions in her serving rotation. 16 Gold allowed this Papio South star to demonstrate her versatility with a wealth of right-side reps at the GPR Bid Tournament. Judson proved she could terminate even when blockers are camped out on her in two-hitter rotations. She already cemented her stock-riser status by helping Lincoln North Star reach the Class A tournament last fall. Even as Kroll transitioned to a new club team, her leadership and precision continued to shine. She has been a revolutionary addition to the [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 16 Black lineup and provides every trait you'd want from a 5-1 setter. Eberspacher joined [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 16 Black in 2025 and adds a game-changing layer of firepower to the frontcourt. She produced so many clutch kills on the left side and seemingly elevated her game further as Sunday wore on. This culminated in a double-digit-kill performance in the third-place match to secure a bid for 16 Black. This Ashland-Greenwood sophomore exhibited her full range of shots for 16 Select and was also a strong wing blocker at Sunday's event. We've come to expect high-flying, athletic outside attackers to populate the Banzai VBC gym. Even so, we cannot leave this outside hitter off our list. Hemmingsen is one of the most intense players in the Premier 16 Red lineup, which is a perfect fit for events like the GPR Bid Tournament. The Iowa native was bound and determined to collect kills, even when circumstances were not in her favor. Hemmingsen tooled the block effectively and was a leading out-of-system terminator for 16 Red. We were particularly impressed with her setting prowess out of the back row, and Lewis also played stingy defense in the right-back area. However, Lewis often transitions to an attacking role in the frontcourt and showcases her impressive athleticism along the net. Versatile players like Lewis have propelled South Central NE into the Great Plains Region conversation in recent years. Wilkens has always been a focal point of the offense, and she took another step forward at Sunday's tournament. Her fearless attitude shines through as she takes aggressive swings at the net. The Kearney High School sophomore has also worked on her all-around game to become a six-rotation option for her club squad. Best of all, Wilkins is getting valuable reps with many of her high school teammates in club venues. Expect the upward trend to continue.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
