Then, Kroll piloted Lincoln North Star to Class A’s No. 1 seed in the school’s best-ever season. She remains the signal-caller for Nebraska ONE 17 Black and capitalized on the team’s daunting Minneapolis slate. Kroll reminded us of her knack for getting every hitter involved and forcing her middles while off the net. 17 Black is at its best when Kroll takes chances and spreads the ball around regardless of the circumstances. That’s the hallmark of a show-stopping setter.

Here’s another setter who has adapted well to a new environment. Kroll moved to Nebraska ONE 16 Black this year and has cashed it in with a GJNC bid through the Great Plains Region. This talented setter was bound to find success anywhere, as she lifted Lincoln North Star to a historic berth in last year’s Class A tournament. 16 Black also rallied around Kroll to get within one match of a 16 USA berth at the Show Me Qualifier, so a high bar has been set before Dallas.

The breakout 2025 campaign continues for Kroll. She already cemented her stock-riser status by helping Lincoln North Star reach the Class A tournament last fall. Even as Kroll transitioned to a new club team, her leadership and precision continued to shine. She has been a revolutionary addition to the Nebraska ONE 16 Black lineup and provides every trait you’d want from a 5-1 setter. Kroll is ready-made for USAV Nationals.
