PD Madness in Miltown: Top Prospects We Can’t Wait to See!

April is big month for volleyball. Regional teams are winding down, national teams are fine tuning their skills and everyone is showcasing enhanced play on the court. As we head to Milwaukee this upcoming weekend for Madness in Miltown, the following players are some that we can't wait to catch up with and see their incredible skills on display. I have primarily seen Moritz in the middle position so far this club season and she has been impressive. She has a solid vertical and quick arm swing that allows her to terminate the quick ball out of the middle as well as crush the gap ball. While she is fun to watch on the offensive end, I really like her defense. She moves quickly from side to side at the net, anticipates well, has great footwork, and knows how to close the block stopping attackers repeatedly.     Versatile players are the best and Blumers is one that any coach would want on their team. She has predominantly played middle for her high school team, but has transitioned to playing a 6 rotation outside spot for her club team. The result has been tremendous growth in all areas of her game, especially passing and serving. Blumbers well be one to watch this upcoming weekend so we can see her arsenal of skills on display.     I have been able to see Clayton a few times this year and I am impressed each and every time. She does a good job running the offense and leading her team to big wins. She reads the floor well and delivers balls to her attackers that are precisely what they need.. leading to optimal scoring. She also does a good job getting all of her hitters involved. It would be easy to rely on the big arms of Ella Morarend and [player_tooltip player_id='739561' first='Taylor' last='Schneider'] but Clayton spreads out the offense, keeps the defense guessing, and has all of her teammates contributing to the success of the team.     Willis is an aggressive attacker who will take big swings from all over the court, hitting from both pins and out of the middle. I especially like her ability to go up and take big swings on the out of system balls. Just when teams they think they may be able to take take advantage with an out of system pass, Willis manages to take a big a swing and generate kills.     Haring is a 2026 setter with a bright future ahead of her. She gets her feet to the ball, has clean hands, and can push it out to the pin. Haring sets a solid, consistent ball that her attackers must love. Haring also plays good defense. She can pick up numerous tips, dumps, and digs as well as put up a solid block. Her height also allows her to be versatile on offense and she can often be seen swinging from the pin as well.
