Our <a href="https://prepdig.com/nebraska/rankings/2026-rankings/">Nebraska Class of 2026</a> refresh just dropped, and we have a lot of storylines to cover in this one.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As mentioned in <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/04/nebraska-rankings-updates-inbound-what-to-watch-for/">Sunday's introductory feature</a>, the Class of 2026 still has room for evolution and adjustments. The Northwestern commit made an early splash by helping her team make a Gold appearance at the Northern Lights Qualifier. Bodnar's leadership shone again as 17 Black earned a podium finish at the late-season Show Me Qualifier in Kansas City. The Papio South standout displayed exceptional poise as Premier Nebraska 17 Gold endured a wild journey to a 17 Open bid at NLQ. Big stages are no problem for Eymann, who is a multi-year state champion on the prep side. Aside from Eymann's ability to distribute the offense, she is an impenetrable right-back defender and brings infectious energy to the court. Offensive balance remains a major strength for 17 Alpha, and Janke contributes to this effort with her consistent tempo and location. The Omaha Marian junior can adjust to any system and is deceptively physical along the net. This squad has a true two-headed monster at the setter position with DeyErmand playing some of her best volleyball this spring. The caveat here is that DeyErmand is not exclusively known for her smooth setting and pinpoint accuracy. She's also a high-flying opposite who can put away clutch kills in the front row. This talented setter has not wavered in 2025 and has big aspirations for this year's postseason, too. Frandson has a knack for pushing the tempo to the outside, allowing her attackers to terminate through large seams at the net. This small-town star has formed excellent connections with her Nebraska Juniors hitters and is eager to rack up her own attacks on the second ball.
