2027 athletes have been working hard, cutting film, attending camps, and sending emails to college coaches the past couple of years in anticipation for June 15 when they can talk to coaches directly. With only six weeks left in the countdown, the following are some high level recruits that we feel are going to be inundated with calls, texts and emails on day 1 from a variety of coaches looking to fill their 2027 roster spots quickly.

I watched Toft play last weekend and it is not shocking as to why she is the #1 overall ranked middle in Iowa. Playing up a division, I watched her completely destroy 17s teams in the 17open division of LOVB Fest. She is the trifecta of middles. She has the height, speed, and power that you are looking for in an amazing middle. I think her biggest problem on June 15 is going to be deciding which call to answer first.

Six rotation outside, Amelie Pankonin is a beast on the court. I have watched her a few times now and I am not sure which of her shots I find the most lethal…when she hits from the pin, when she is running routes into the middle, or when she attacks from the back row. No matter where on she is at on the court, she is quick, explosive, and has a fast, heavy arm that allows her to terminate efficiently. One of things that does set her apart from other outsides is her ability to take big swings on out of system balls. She has a great ability to read the ball, time it impeccably, and unleash her power and find the court repeatedly for yet another kill. Her versatility is going to make her a highly sought after recruit.

Quam has been quietly flying under the radar for far too long. I watched her play this club season and was instantly impressed with her skill set. I have primarily seen her on the right side and she is a beast on the court. She is explosive in her approach, has a quick, heavy arm swing, and can find the open court with ease. Quam is also a very solid blocker. She reads the ball well, has a great footwork and reach, and knows how to position her hands so she doesn't get used by attackers. I anticipate June 15th will be a very busy time for Quam as I am sure many schools will be calling.

Anderson is a versatile 6 rotation outside that has the grit, determination ,and skill to go far in the collegiate volleyball scene. Anderson is a scoring machine and is one of those attackers that can terminate from anywhere on the court (her back row attacks are especially vicious). She is very smart, reads the court well, and knows when to unleash powerful shots or when when a roll or tip will get the job done. Any coach would be lucky to have this attacker on their roster.

I am a big Lamberti fan. I have seen her play multiple times now and this girl has a wide array of skills. First, she is a fantastic setter. She runs a good tempo and knows how to spread out the offense and get out all of her attackers involved. She is also a powerful attacker, dynamite defender, and solid blocker. While I am always impressed with her skills, I am equally impressed with her leadership, composure, and high game IQ. Combine these items with her height and speed and you have a tremendous athlete that is going to be a steal for some college this upcoming summer.

I first saw Anderson earlier in the season at a tournament in Minnesota and was instantly impressed with her skills, intensity, and “never give up” style of play. Anderson is a workhorse on the court and is exceptional in many ways. She is a versatile attacker with an array of shots, is solid in serve receive, is a dynamic defender, and will track down every ball possible on the court. Coaches that are seeking versatile players will definitely be calling Anderson.
