Amelie Pankonin Amelie Pankonin 6'0" | OH River Falls | 2027 State WI is a top five prospect in Wisconsin’s Class of 2027 and is also the best available out of Wisconsin.  She is right along the Wisconsin/Minnesota border prepping for River Falls High School while playing club for Northern Lights 17-1.  This team picked up an open bid at Show Me in Kansas City.  Pankonin has a ton of pop in her swing, she knows how to score points in a high volume.  She has proven herself in big moments and will be fun to see her generate momentum into her senior season. 

Amelie Pankonin Amelie Pankonin 6'0" | OH River Falls | 2027 State WI is one of the top outside hitters in Wisconsin who preps at River Falls High School and plays her club volleyball for Northern Lights 16-2.  Her club team has been having quite the season.  Pankonin has already racked up plenty of high school honors where she has an electric style of play.  She is fast to the ball, she is explosive with her jump and is able to find the open spot on the court with a variety of shots.  This will be a big summer for Pankonin and her squad who will be playing in Orlando and Dallas.  She will be able to generate plenty of recruiting momentum as well as being one of the top players in Western Wisconsin coming high school season. 

Six rotation outside, Amelie Pankonin is a beast on the court. I have watched her a few times now and I am not sure which of her shots I find the most lethal…when she hits from the pin, when she is running routes into the middle, or when she attacks from the back row. No matter where on she is at on the court, she is quick, explosive, and has a fast, heavy arm that allows her to terminate efficiently. One of things that does set her apart from other outsides is her ability to take big swings on out of system balls. She has a great ability to read the ball, time it impeccably, and unleash her power and find the court repeatedly for yet another kill. Her versatility is going to make her a highly sought after recruit.

Amelie brings so much finesse to the court. She has a lethal arm swing and can hit shots with pinpoint precision. Amelie is highly efficient in pass to attack and is a consistent force on the court. She is always ready to offload on the ball and is one of the main point-earners on any team she plays on. Every time she steps on the court, she makes a difference and earns points from the front and back row.

Pankonin has always been an explosive athlete for River Falls High School and was one of the best players in the gym at the Wisconsin Top 250.  She will be playing for Northern Lights out of the Twin Cities Metro this season where she is one college coaches need to have on their radar.  Her ability to take over a match at any time is exciting.  She is fast to the ball and is able to change up her speeds, keeping the other side off balance.  Her point scoring ability travels with her to the backrow as well where she is always an outlet. 

Amelie is a dynamite athlete who dominates any court she is on. She is a high-level defender and serve receiver and has a lethal swing out of the back row. When she is in the front row, she is smart, explosive, and effective. Amelie’s volleyball IQ is through the roof, and she shows no signs of slowing down. Amelie was All-State Honorable Mention for her efforts during the high school season.

Amelie was impressive across the board. She spent significant time on both pins and was consistently executing from both the outside and right side. She was also really impressed with her pass to attack and serve receive. What makes Amelie so impressive is how well-rounded she is and how she does every aspect of the game at such a high level.

Amelie is a rising star on this River Falls team. She is absolutely relentless on offense and has a lethal line shot. She also has an incredibly high volleyball IQ and can find holes in opposing defenses off of both in and out-of-system sets. Amelie had 13 kills against Stevens Point and will be a go-to hitter for River Falls in their Sectional Matchup against Eau Claire Memorial.

Amelie Pankonin Amelie Pankonin 6'0" | OH River Falls | 2027 State WI burst onto the scene as a freshman when River Falls made it to the state tournament with multiple upsets to get to Green Bay.  She is following that run up with a super sophomore season where she is among the tops in the state in multiple categories. She has over 300 kills and nearly 300 digs.  River Falls is once again having a big season where they will be among the top teams in their sectional along with conference rival Hudson.  Pankonin will be a key piece to their puzzle as they gear up for the post season.
