One of the biggest qualifiers in the midwest is happening at the McCormick Center in downtown Chicago on Easter weekend, and there are a ton of Indiana-based kids playing and showing their stuff. Each of the six athletes listed are from six different clubs and are uncommitted as of the writing of this article. Here they are---two from 17 Open, two from 17 Liberty and two from 17 American.

A solid six-rotation passer for any program, Raegan has perfected the pass-to-attack routine at Boiler Juniors. Her footwork is fluid, the preparation for attack is balanced, and her arm swing is high and hard. Coming from an exceptional high school program and now a top-notch club program, Raegan has been perfecting her techniques to become a full-time outside for (most likely) a small D1 school looking for just that.

Ava's size and strength combination on one of the top 17s teams in the midwest is a nice marriage of need and skill. Being over six feet tall certainly helps---her long arms and quick transition approach allow her to put away balls as an M2 regularly. On defense, she takes up space on the block despite being narrow in the shoulders. Most of the athletes on this roster are already committed, so seeing Ava play up to her competition while seamlessly working well with her setter and teammates makes her a prime candidate for being committed, and soon.

Tami is a new addition to our rankings---as in I added her this weekend. She's a high-flying pin attacker that has done the most damage on the right pin. With her ability to get up quickly and terminate with a heavy swing, her 5'8" frame becomes irrelevant since she's jumping close to ten feet. Her squad has a legitimate chance to qualify in 17 Liberty this weekend, and Tami should be a be cog in the machine that allows this roster to thrive.

A left-handed primary passing outside, Aubrey is well-accustomed to hitting on the left pin with authority. She can hit any angle, frustrates blockers with her arm swing and does a little of everything well on the court. Slightly undersized for larger schools, Aubrey will do well in a program looking for a six-rotation primary-passing outside who has a high degree of work ethic and athleticism.

Big and physical, Adele can play either the middle or right side positions with ease, and I've seen her do just that at a high club level of play. Quick-footed and quick-armed, Miss Macer can terminate on any angle and either off of two feet or one foot, depending on the needs of the team. Her versatility allows her to come at opposing defenses with multiple different looks to her attack, making her that much more able to score points. Oh yeah, she's also over six feet, which can't be taught.

Easily the biggest on NIVA's 17 Black squad, Addyson is a big and physical pin attacker and defender that might be best suited with a program looking to work with her athleticism and quickness and mold her into something less raw. You can't teach size, though, and Miss Stover takes advantage of that on both offense and defense. Newish to the club scene, she's more than capable of playing at the next level; what would help her the most is ball touches, experience playing and consistent training over time. The future is bright with this one, and her athleticism will help her immensely.
