Biggest Stock Risers in Nebraska 2027 Rankings Update (Pt. 1)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Before we discuss the dozens of new additions, we want to acknowledge some stock risers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Yesterday was a major milestone for our site. The latest <a href="https://prepdig.com/nebraska/rankings/2027-rankings/">Nebraska 2027 update</a> dropped, and we coined this as our "<a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/05/new-nebraska-2027-rankings-our-biggest-update-ever/">biggest update ever</a>." Racking up 100 new additions was a herculean task, but we also had to consider the hierarchy of players already on the list. This Omaha Marian standout took Kansas City by storm and anchored 16 Gold's path to a 16 Open bid at the Show Me Qualifier. Capece's impact transcends positional designations, as we've seen her take over matches as an outside hitter on the prep side. In addition to Capece's excellence with 16 Gold, Jacobson has reached new heights in 16 Black's libero jersey. The Millard South star exhibits extraordinary defensive instincts and is one of the most skilled passers in Nebraska's 2027 class. Even while 16 Black adjusted to a new lineup this year, Jacobson has provided much-needed stability and ball control. [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 16 Black is another squad with big postseason aspirations this summer, and Twarling will play a big part in the team's journey. This talented libero has been willing to lock down any zone for 16 Black, whether in the libero jersey or as a substitute. Twarling's role has expanded throughout the 2025 season, leading to big triumphs at NLQ and Show Me. Roger has been another extraordinary addition to the lineup, adding to the wealth of firepower in the front row. She has experience as a middle blocker but has thrived on the left side for 16 Black. Roger has a knack for finding open areas of the court and will use any shot to exploit those gaps. Of course, this Wilber-Clatonia prep star can also use her quick arm to score by brute force alone. Wilkens has led the effort as a six-rotation outside hitter who does a little of everything for her squad. The Kearney High School sophomore can terminate over opposing blockers and is the leading out-of-system scorer for her club. We were introduced to Kearney Elite on the regional circuit, and the team kept improving during a qualifier trip to Kansas City. Stater has led an exceptional group of 16 Alpha pin hitters and has developed considerably since we last saw her on the Prep Dig Circuit. Sanmann has been an all-around leader for her squad en route to multiple deep runs at national qualifiers. The Bennington sophomore elevates quickly and is tough to read when making her approach. Opposing defenses don't know whether to expect a cross-court drive or a crafty line shot when Sanmann leans into the ball. Lewis has been a steady, consistent leader for 16 Black while guiding the team through several high-profile events. This maturity is evident even as Lewis shoulders dual responsibilities as a backcourt setter and a front-row opposite. South Central NE was a force at the Show Me Qualifier and racked up several highlight moments at the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament.
