With the recruiting quiet period over, coaches will need to have availability information at their fingertips once GJNC's and AAU's begin. Here are five available setters from five different clubs from the class of '26 that should earn a few more eyeballs this summer before their senior years begin.

Traveling a LONG way for club ball, Kenlee is a big, physical and accurate setter that is the most college ready among the kids that are currently available. Her hands are high, she's accurate with her set placement, and always finds the favorable matchup with her hitters. Defensively, she's a problem to go against, considering her size, ability to take up space on the block, and her ability to read opposing hitters. I'm also a fan of her going over on two, as her height is a huge advantage in this area. Kenlee is also one of the few in this class that can go get an overpass and turn it into a hittable ball.

Keira is an undersized overachiever who locates the ball better than most. She's also highly athletic and deceptive, turning what might be an "obvious" out-of-system ball into options for all of her hitters. Considering how quick her outside ball currently is, to see her keep that set in tempo regardless of where the ball is passed is proof positive of her high volleyball IQ---keeping the set in-tempo with her hitters is more important than using a mediocre pass as an excuse to not do so.

For a combination of athleticism and some "setter flash", look no further than Reese. Miss Blanchard goes 100% on every ball every time, with a finish that flourishes the more difficult the set might be. I'm also a fan of other parts of her game---the pinpoint serving, the read-and-react blocking ability, and the offensive side of her position all grade out to above average in this class. Overall, when looking at available setting options, you could do a LOT worse than Reese.

From one end of the "flashy" spectrum to the other, Grace is a no-nonsense, get-the-job-done setter that does everything well, despite her lack of size. Still playing an open-level schedule, Grace is more than capable of doing everything---and making it look easy. From her tough hybrid serve to one-hand setting in-tempo outside sets to defending her position at an above-average level, Miss Hargis can do it all, and without the fanfare and flash of some. A workhorse who doesn't need the credit or accolades, she considers her job well done when her hitters get kills; the true mark of a setter.

The smallest setter on today's list, Addison has the quickest and most deceptive hands of the bunch. Decisions are made quickly in volleyball, but Miss Gehres' timeclock on those decisions are seemingly faster than most. What adds to the deception is that her hands are in the same spot for every pass that comes her way. No matter where she has to hustle to get to the ball, her hands never change. For me, this is a sign of a well-trained setter who knows how to run the floor AND sprinkle in a few points for her squad for extra measure.
