As this class rises up to the sophomore seasons, it will be interesting to see which players continue to rise and so forth. Thus far, [player_tooltip player_id='601632' first='Kayleigh' last='Rogers'], [player_tooltip player_id='579836' first='Charlotte' last='Patton'], [player_tooltip player_id='610406' first='Kenadi' last='Sieg'] and [player_tooltip player_id='611724' first='Brooke' last='Codey'] lead the list. However, others could step forward.

Codey is an amazing player to watch. Codey not only plays club, but also hits the sand scene quite a bit and that's helped her coordination among other things. New challenges do not bother her, including adjusting to speed of next levels. Codey played up to the 16 Red team during club season. Codey is courageous on the court, not afraid to sacrifice herself to keep plays alive. Codey pounds balls from all six spots on the court. Codey's ball control is rising fast. Codey had 118 kills and 230 digs for the Rockets in the fall, helping Assumption go 35-8 and win the state record 24th state championship in program - all since the first one in 1992.

Redlinger (pictured) earned a taste of varsity action for the Pandas as a freshman. Redlinger most likely starts for other teams with her size and athleticism. However, she had to wait her turn for the deeply talented 10-time state champions. Expect Redlinger to take advantage of her opportunities this fall. Redlinger does her part to help her teams control the net with her sound timing on blocks. She also takes great swings and makes precise passes.

Hamilton had made some big steps during the club season. Hamilton produces from all six spots on the court, making great adjustments in the air to put balls away from blockers and defensive specialists with a variety of hard and soft hits. Hamilton brings great energy to the court. Hamilton reads hitters well and times her blocks well in addition to becoming a reliable passer.

Dotson hopes to help the Generals make it to the 11th Region Tournament for the first time since 2011 this fall. It will be a tough task in the loaded 43rd District, but Dotson has been a great encourager and communicator with her club teammates on the 15 Elite team and looks to continue that at Lafayette this fall, trying to get them to believe they can climb that mountain. Dotson has a sound jump serve and does what she can to control the net. Dotson has a good vertical forcing opponents out of their powerful hitting comfort zones. Dotson takes powerful swings on balls. The tough competition Dotson faced during club season in practice and games could help her out immensely this fall.

Dreher has a great vertical and attack point on her swings to send balls screaming to the ground, especially on crosses. Dreher is productive from the outside and middle. Dreher smacks balls off blockers and takes great swings out of system taking advantage of her high vertical leap. Dreher sends free balls across the net with a purpose and quickly makes the move from defense to offense.
