With high school tryouts right around the corner, the energy is already shifting—and these incoming freshmen are wasting no time making a name for themselves.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From laser-sharp serve receive to quick-tempo sets and fearless attacks, I've seen firsthand how this group is showing up at camps and showcases with something to prove. They're not just filling jerseys—they're earning spots and turning heads.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>So who are the freshmen hitters bringing heat, the setters running the floor like veterans, and the liberos reading the court with next-level vision?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These are a few of the players I've been tracking all club season long—and I believe they'll be making serious waves over the next four years. As a 6-rotation outside hitter, she brings the complete package—offensive power, court awareness, and defensive consistency. Whether she's taking a high ball out of system or passing in serve receive, Dillynn plays with confidence and control. She's a vocal leader and carries herself like she's been on varsity for years. She's already showing impressive command of the court, with precise tempo, clean hands, and timing that consistently connects with her attackers. Her ability to run an offense with poise sets her apart at this age. Heading into her freshman year at Marion High School, Taylor will have strong leadership around her—and she's the type of player who absorbs, adapts, and levels up quickly. We are excited to watch her growth this season. I really enjoyed watching her throughout club season—her size, movement, and energy stood out every time she stepped on the court. Whether she's closing blocks, swinging off the right side, or running quicks in the middle, Tatum brings a strong and steady presence to the front row. I had the chance to watch her compete at AAU Nationals with Midwest Power, and she left a strong impression. Elliotte is a high-impact middle attacker—strong at the net, quick on the slide, and always locked in. What makes her stand out even more is her natural feel for the game—while she doesn't currently set, she has the hands, court vision, and decision-making to take on that role if needed. As she enters her freshman year at Hinton Community High School, she's absolutely a player to track.
