Humphrey played well when I watched her and Iowa Impact 15-1 Elite compete throughout the club campaign. She has good instincts in the back row and flows well with the action. Humphrey tracks the ball well in serve-receive and gets to her spots in lining up against heavy-hitting pins. She’s receiving excellent coaching from her club and high school programs, which will help her stay on a strong development path. Humphrey is one to watch moving forward.

Iowa Impact has been a mainstay of our post-showcase coverage, so we ought to bring this 15-1 Elite defender into the picture. Humphrey’s first steps always put her in the right position when she showed up on the Exposure Tour stage. The Ankeny Centennial freshman also saw chances to display her finesse as a secondary setter, keeping her pin hitters in a groove. Even after dedicating an entire feature to backcourt standouts, we have a few on our radar from last weekend’s event.
