Armstong dominates the front row when the team is in rhythm. Armstrong pounds balls down hard, especially on the ones and 32s. Armstrong also puts balls off blockers on the slide routes. Armstong puts more power into balls running hard toward the net and angling her body to hit balls to the sides of blockers. Armstrong sends balls to corners and other parts of the court. She is also a sound solo and double blocker.

Koerber will give the Cougars plenty of options this fall both setting and hitting the ball. Koerber has a sound approach to the net and follow-through. Koerber hits strong to the line and across the court. Koerber does a variety of sets to different parts of the net. She reads defenses well and makes good decisions. It helps Koerber will have size to set this fall.

Sound serve reception and first touches will again be a key for the Mustangs this fall and Thompson will do what she can to make sure she makes those sound two to three-point passes. Thompson (pictured) is athletic and it shows in how she tracks down soft and hard hit balls. Thompson puts walls behind balls making for a smooth offensive rhythm. Thompson moves quickly both forward and backward and side to side.

Miles does a great job hustling every time the ball is in the air. Miles has good defensive form and it shows with the consistent two to three-point passes. Not enough can be said about her communication on the court. That played a big role during club season and should come in handy for Sacred Heart this fall.
