The Wolves recently beat Princeton by a 3-0 score as Adkins nearly achieved the triple-double as she was two digs shy of that feat. Earning a team high 10 kills, she also distributed 17 assists to go along with her eight digs. The Northern Kentucky commit has seen her role evolve for Mercy McAuley over her high school career and its fun to see her make this variety of contribution each match.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='812301' first='Celeste' last='Borchers']</strong> - Russia | OH<br>The 5'10 junior outside hitter was the key catalyst for Russia in their 3-0 win over Jackson Center. With a team high 17 kills, Borchers terminated at a 49% kill rate on a .371 efficiency. She also provided team high numbers with 14 digs and four service aces. Contributing 2.9 k/s in 2024, Borchers is on pace to eclipse that with her early success this season. She is a fluid attacker that swings with a high elbow and with aggressive contact. Russia is 3-2 on the season.</p>

<p><strong>Jillian Weaver</strong> - Crestview | OH/RS<br>Weaver led Crestview (Ashland, OH) to a 3-2 win over New London to help her team improve to 3-2 on the season. With a team best 14 kills, she also added 14 digs for the double-double effort. She is the most versatile option for the Cougars as she provides some of the best length on their side as well as a lefty arm swing that can create challenges for opponents given her ability to swing and score from both pins. Her season best effort offensively also included a season best defensive contribution of 14 digs for her first double-double of 2025.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='832317' first='Grace' last='Dooley']</strong> - Carroll | OH<br>Dooley terminated the ball 17 times in Carroll's 3-1 victory over Archbishop Alter. Averaging 4.2 k/s in the match she terminated on a .214 efficiency. Three times earning double digit kills in their five matches, Dooley is averaging 3.8 k/s on the season. This most recent win also included season best output for Dooley in both digs and service aces with 13 and three respectively. The 5'10 senior outside hitter is approaching 450 career kills for Carroll as she leads the Patriots' offense through good effort to develop range in her shots upon contact.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='774837' first='Lila' last='McCarty'] </strong>- Western Brown | S<br>McCarty, a junior setter, made a big impact for Western Brown as she guided their offense with 28 assists as they beat Wilmington 3-1. She also added 17 digs. McCarty is in her first season filling the role as the primary setter and she averaging 6.4 assists per set as with some of her best effort coming in their last two matches as she has amassed 55 assists as the Broncos are on a three match win streak. </p>
