West Suburban Conf. and East Suburban Catholic have talent

With schools like Marist, Benet, Joliet Catholic and more, the East Suburban Catholic will provide some great games of volleyball this year. The West Suburban Conference also houses some great teams, with likes of York, Lyons, Downers Grove schools, Hinsdale South and more. Great size and a great contact point when she hits the ball for her kills. She also moves very well with being able to hit slides and get over quickly for blocks. She is explosive at the net. Generally one of the tallest girls on the court as well, which certainly doesn't hurt. She gets over to her slides quickly and shuffles over and jumps quickly as well for blocks and touches at the net. Being able to jump quickly is a skill, and she has it. Great lift and reach as well. Has a fantastic wind up and quick swing at the net. She is fantastic in serve receive and seems to read the servers cues. She shuffles well to make passes, and is always ready and in the right spot for digs. She is exciting. OH who can pass, swing, block and do it all. But, when she gets a pass out of serve receive, and then quickly gets into her approach and fly's to detonate on the ball. It's explosive to watch. She has a hammer of a swing. She gets vertical quickly and spreads those hits hard all over the court. She can block, and do it all on the court. She is a fantastic setter who can also hit and plays some OPP HITTER! She has good hands and a nice swing from the RS. She looks comfy out there ready to pass, dig, you name it. Does a good job reading the hard hit and does a great job using her hands with balls above her head. You can fill her in anywhere and she will contribute. She sets and she can hit from the pin position. She just makes smart plays. Pushing balls to the back corners as a hitter, setter dumps and kills as a setter. She can hit into the blocks when they are off the net, hit down the lines, or crush one cross court. Approach looks good and can tell she is surveying and knows what to do when the set comes.
