We're about midway through our fall schedule here in Indiana, and the cream is definitely rising to the top. If you were able to watch the best match in multiple areas of the state, but only one match per day, where would you go? We've got you covered in the article below. Here are four matches from all four weekdays that high-end volleyball is happening, and no team has less than 75% of their matches won.

Monday: Mount Vernon (14-4) @ Westfield (15-1)

Monday matches are odd to begin with, so getting a high-end match without either team practicing the day before should open fans' eyes as to how prepared the Marauders and Shamrocks really are at this stage of the season. MV has a trio of seniors that can carry the offensive load, starting with [player_tooltip player_id='807328' first='Sierra' last='Holverson']. Her ability to regularly terminate from either pin will dictate how long this match will last. Fellow senior pin hitter [player_tooltip player_id='261025' first='Jaycee' last='Jones'] is a nice complement, and can use her whip of an arm to take some of the pressure off of Sierra. Finally, senior middle [player_tooltip player_id='831310' first='D'aaliyah' last='Kemp'] (Iowa State commit) is an amazing transfer get from Park Tudor that can hopefully slow down the efficient and effective middles that Westfield carries. Speaking of, Louisville commit [player_tooltip player_id='443848' first='Carsyn' last='Comer'] owns the net when she's on the court, and is easily the top recruit in Indiana for the class of ‘27. She's joined by fellow junior [player_tooltip player_id='482721' first='Paige' last='Rudolph'], a pin attacker with all of the angles, shots and point-scoring skills that a big and physical outside should have. Finally, the anchor of this roster is [player_tooltip player_id='261022' first='Georgia' last='Bresnahan']. The senior and SIUE commit is a six-rotation queen that should never come out and means more to the program than just hitting. Overall, this should be a fun match to watch for all of the D1 talent on the floor.

Tuesday: Roncalli (16-3) @ Hamilton Southeastern (15-2)

As if Monday's match was fun to watch, your Tuesday will have even MORE high-end volleyball playing going on within the 1800 square feet that occupies both sides of the court. A battle of Royals, as it were, Roncalli's ball control and floor defense will be important to control the offense of the Royals from Hamilton County. Roncalli's D1 talent is evident from the get-go: [player_tooltip player_id='254827' first='Lydia' last='Stahley'] (Missouri commit) and [player_tooltip player_id='221342' first='Lily' last='Jones'] (Central Michigan) are the primary left- and right-pin attackers, respectively, for the south-siders. Sophomore outside [player_tooltip player_id='798102' first='Rosanna' last='Spearing'] is a young and under appreciated outside that can take some heat off of the former two, as long as Roncalli stays in system. For HSE, however, there's a ton of firepower from a bunch of different positions. A pair of outside-hitting seniors with post-high-school aspirations lead this offense. [player_tooltip player_id='261036' first='Madison' last='Miles'] (Illinois commit) and [player_tooltip player_id='229027' first='Merritt' last='Sliwa'] (Ball State commit) are springy, high-flying attackers who control every part of the offense, from first contact to last. A third pin player, [player_tooltip player_id='807882' first='Brooklyn' last='Sigler'], is also heavily involved in the offense, helping this three-headed north side Royal monster to the tune of 9 kills per set while averaging .300 on the season. Both teams have suffered losses in the past week or so that came unexpectedly, so this match should be a fun one to watch, as they both get back to a more consistent track against top competition in the state.

Wednesday: Hamilton Heights (14-4) @ Lapel (16-5)

Two teams from well north of Indianapolis match up as the literal dogfight of the day. The Huskies are led by West Virginia commit [player_tooltip player_id='301139' first='Macie' last='Smith'], as her 5+ kills per set while hitting .300 is a huge part of HH's success. I'm also intrigued to see the future of the Huskies, [player_tooltip player_id='886338' first='Olivia' last='Schiffli'], and how she can take some pressure off of Miss Smith in the attacking department. Heights' first contact is taken care of with libero [player_tooltip player_id='586725' first='Addie' last='Doak'] (Marshall commit) donning the special jersey. She can pass half the court if you let her, and Lapel should use any means necessary to avoid serving her if they wish to win this match. As for the Bulldogs, the highest leader in the gym might be a basketball-first kid named Laniah Wills, who owns a ton of school records in both volleyball and basketball at Lapel. Her approach from the middle is explosive, and her basketball athleticism shines when she blocks. Sophomore Ohara Bledsoe is a nice offensive piece to have, and will be the outlet Lapel needs when Laniah isn't attacking. A pair of setters run this 6-2 in juniors Bella Roland and McKenna Kobli. Keeping the Husky defense honest will be up to these two if they want to get a W out of this match on Wednesday.

Thursday: Southwood (10-2) @ Wabash (17-3)

What a fun way to finish the week. Although only one player is pre committed to their respective school in this matchup, it will be worth the price of admission to watch her play. [player_tooltip player_id='494521' first='Shania' last='Rhamy'] (Kentucky commit) is one of a host of juniors on Southwood's squad that are trying to make it back to the title match this fall at Gainbridge. [player_tooltip player_id='847596' first='Hali' last='Pershing'], Shania's fellow pin attacker, is a nice add to the offense to at least keep some semblance of balance. The pair add 6+ kills while both hitting over .300 to keep this year another winning season. Junior libero Presley Croft will do the lion's share of serve receive (with Shania) to keep her squad in-system, and will largely be leaned upon in this matchup for staying that way. For Wabash, look no further than [player_tooltip player_id='480368' first='Bryleigh' last='Boggs'] as the go-to. Her five-plus kills ARE the offense for the Apaches, and she'll need to carry a bit bigger load in order to pull off the win on Thursday. That decision might be up to both setters in Wabash's 6-2, Mya Whitaker and Zoe Vail. Each will be tasked with (1) keeping the team in system, (2) finding Bryleigh regularly, and (3) turning less-than-optimal passes into hittable balls.
