<p><strong>DSHS Brings Another Tournament Title Back From Joust</strong></p>

<p>DSHA is so back, they never really left as they took home the tournament title at The Joust hosted by Homestead High School. They defeated Waukesha West in the semifinals and Arrowhead in the finals. This may be some foreshadowing with plenty of GMAC and Classic 8 teams who will be going head to head all season. </p>

<p><strong>Holmen Takes Home Beast of the Northeast</strong></p>

<p>Holmen brings back a full lineup from their 2024 state tournament team and they made quite the statement this past weekend at Beast of the Northeast at the Champion Center in Appleton hosted by Notre Dame Academy. They finished 7-0 in the 32 team tournament where they defeated West De Pere in the semifinals and Mosinee in the championship. Green Bay commit [player_tooltip player_id='388556' first='Macy' last='Kline'] paces the backrow that allows a balanced attack to terminate. </p>

<p><strong>Cats Claim Victory at UW-Stout Sprawl </strong></p>

<p>River Falls is off to an 11-0 start where they took home the championship from The Sprawl hosted by UW-Stout. They defeated Big Rivers Conference rivals in Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire Memorial, and Hudson along with a 2-0 win over Stanley-Boyd enroute to the title without dropping a set. They have been led by a junior duo of attackers in [player_tooltip player_id='511138' first='Amelie' last='Pankonin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='701235' first='Brooke' last='Dusek'] that are averaging nearly seven kills a set together. Milwaukee commit [player_tooltip player_id='496803' first='Olivia' last='Doerre'] continues to command the backrow with nearly three digs per set and has 25 ace serves. </p>

<p><strong>Living World Lutheran Off To Hot Start</strong></p>

<p>Living World Lutheran is off to a big start with a 9-1 record, taking home the Sun Prairie East championship. They rattled off wins against D1 foes in perennial powers Manitowoc Lincoln and Watertown. They are led by senior duo in [player_tooltip player_id='388457' first='Eden' last='Roethel'] and [player_tooltip player_id='388456' first='Delaney' last='Winkelmann'] who are averaging over seven kills per set. Roethel is an Arkansas State commit who is hitting .348 on the season and leads the team with 24 total blocks. Winkelmann gets it done in the backrow as well where she leads the team in digs and ace serves. </p>

<p><strong>Janesville Craig Defends Home Tournament</strong></p>

<p>Janesville Craig took home the tournament title Cougar-Viking Volleyball Classic where they defeated an upset minded Milton in the championship. Milton knocked off previously unbeaten Verona in the semifinals. Craig defeated Milton twice on Saturday where they brought their overall record to 8-1. Junior Abbie Claas is leading the way for Craig with three kills per set while sophomore setter [player_tooltip player_id='581595' first='Chloe' last='Adams'] is nearing 150 assists on the season. Up next is the opening of conference play with Sun Prairie East on Thursday. </p>
