2028 Unranked WI Players to Watch this Club Season

Volleyball has gotten so popular that we often see players that commit themselves to the sport year round. Some continue to play other sports (i.e. soccer, basketball, and softball) but will also make sure to hit the court for volleyball practices and weekend tournaments to keep their skills sharp. Therefore, the growth we've seen and will continue to see from month to month has and will continue to be remarkable. Players will not advance their athleticism and skills at an alarming rate, but also their competitiveness and overall game IQ. We're excited to watch these 2028s bring their best to the club circuit as we are sure they are going to impress. She is a volleyball setter that brings a high game IQ and unwavering determination to every match. She works tirelessly to deliver clean and consistent sets, varies the offense and keeps it running smoothly, and never hesitates in her pursuit to chase down every ball in order to keep plays alive. Frei has a relentless work ethic and is driven for excellence. I watched her a few times last year (including AAU where she won an All-American award. She had a fantastic year last year so naturally I can't wait to see what she has in store for us this year.     I watched Novak a few times last year and was instantly impressed with her fearlessness and dedication. Novak seems to have a love of the floor as she never hesitates to sacrifice her body to keep the balls from hitting it. She reads well, reacts even better, and never gives up. Her intense drive, tenacity, and the sheer grit she shows on the court sets the standard for her team. I can't wait to see her bring that passion to the court this winter as her Kokoro team competes in high level tournaments.     I watched Hoel a few times last year and was super impressed with her growth from beginning of the season until the end when I saw her at AAU in Florida. This growth showcases her dedication to the sport and the drive she has to be one of the top outsides in the Class of 2028. Hoel brings a powerful, forceful swing and an impressive vertical to the court that are remarkable and fun to watch. I anticipate I will be even more impressed with her growth when I check her out in the upcoming months during club play.     Playing on the highly successful volleyball program of Holmen, Tenglad is an energetic hitter that proved she could compete at the highest level, even if she was the youngest player on the team. She earned court time through her versatility as a front row weapon, providing an offense spark when her team needed it. What makes Tengblad fun to watch is that not only can she terminate successfully from the outside, but she's also capable of taking big swings out of the middle and confidently taking on out-of-system balls with ease. Her versatility, skill, and poise on the court make her a standout young athlete that we can't wait to see this winter.     Komarek is a right side pin that possesses a fast, heavy arm that routinely frustrates opposing defenses. This high school season was no exception as electric sophomore delivered one outstanding performance after another leading her team with 328 kills on the season and to their first-ever WIAA state championship. She has demonstrated her ability to perform in high level competition and in tense situations. As she starts her season with [program_tooltip program_id='428662' first='Wisconsin' last='Ice'] this winter, she is guaranteed to make a tremendous impact, bringing both her competitive spirit and tremendous attacking abilities to every game.
