The 6'1 middle is coming off another productive season for CVCA as she upgraded her impact to 1.5 k/s on an improved .333 efficiency and 47% kill rate over her freshman season effort. Additionally, she nearly doubled her effort defensively as she was a big force at the net with a career best 3.9 blocks per match. As she has improved her action at the net, look for her to make even bigger gains with her AVC team in her transition movement and offensive abilities overall.     At 6'0, Heaton has good tools to compete well from the right side of the court. She has good length and is left-handed, which can create advantages for her when swinging or from the setting role.
