One of (if not THE) biggest setters at the Exposure Tour on Saturday, Adelynn has a strong upper body and even stronger hands to go get a ball that’s passed tight and can get sent to a pin. Although her connection with the middles was a bit off, that can be trained, without having to train the size part of blocking on the right side. The bare bones of the work ethic, footwork and repetitive motion are there for a next-level setter. Now, Adelynn needs a ton of real-time reps and consistent play in the setting position to perfect her craft.

Heaton has size, multiple skills, and is part of a solid high school program that will continue to develop and challenge her as she grows her skills and experience. As a setter and attacker, she can contribute in multiple ways for her team. Her left-hand dominance at the net also creates advantages in her game. You can see her compete for Elevation ‘s top 16U team this coming club season.

At 6’0, Heaton has good tools to compete well from the right side of the court. She has good length and is left-handed, which can create advantages for her when swinging or from the setting role. The cycle of her volleyball year with a solid program at CHCA leading to the competitive training and schedule with Elevation will continue her development well as she has a good foundation as a two-way threat while also using her length well to defend at the net. Gains in her movement efficiency will be a big asset for her going forward.
