While each hitter displayed unique strengths, the collective takeaway was clear: this class is already competing with a maturity and edge well beyond its age group. Here is the first set of standout freshman outsides who elevated at this event.

Lopez is a 5'10" outside hitter from Clovis West High School. Lopez delivers one of the heaviest arms in the freshman group, consistently producing point-scoring swings from both serve/receive and transition. With a strong frame and fast arm, Lopez applies pressure early in rallies and shows the ability to terminate against well-formed blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='885527' first='Kainani' last='Mata']

Mata is a 5'6" outside hitter from Inderkum High School. What Mata lacks in height is more than compensated for with jump, rhythm, and fearless competitiveness. Clean contact, high hang time, and the ability to hit around or over hands make Mata a dangerous threat. Solid back-row skills elevate this athlete's value even further on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='887319' first='Jurnee' last='Tyra']

Tyra is a 5'8" outside hitter from Justin Garza High School. Tyra brings a dynamic, quick-twitch presence to the pin. A fast arm and explosive first step allow Tyra to beat defenses in time, while developing six-rotation tools give this athlete major long-term upside. Tyra's off-speed control was especially impressive throughout the event.

Brayton is a 5'8" outside hitter from Ripon Christian High School. Brayton offers a reliable, technically polished game anchored in clean passing and smart decision-making. A smooth, repeatable swing and strong defensive instincts make Brayton one of the most stable all-around prospects in the class. Brayton's high volleyball IQ sets her apart from other hitters at this event.

Wunderlich is a 5'10" outside hitter from Granada High School. Wunderlich presents as one of the more physical hitters in the class, using a strong core and powerful torque through the shoulder to drive the ball with speed and accuracy to her targets. A superior blocking presence and strong kill ability in out-of-system situations are a huge piece of Wunderlich's attractive skills.

[player_tooltip player_id='765044' first='Iliya' last='Little']

Little is a 6'1" outside hitter from Rocklin High School. I was personally impressed with Little at the Exposure Tour this weekend. Little brings elite physical tools to the freshman group. With her height and natural elevation, an imposing contact point, and superior offensive skills, Little is already playing above the net at a high level. Her blocking instincts continue to grow, and when in rhythm, Little can dominate a match. She is an imposing athlete that I would keep on my radar to recruit for the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='909446' first='Charlise' last='Lee']

[player_tooltip player_id='909446' first='Charlise' last='Lee'], 2029.

Lee is a 5'5" outside hitter from Mills High School. Lee plays with speed, grit, and outstanding ball control. A standout passer and defender, Lee stabilizes serve/receive patterns and opens the door for offensive flow. Clean mechanics and strong timing allow Lee to score consistently despite apparent size differences. Some athletes just have that intangible quality that adds to a team dynamic and Lee has it in spades.

[player_tooltip player_id='764862' first='Isabella' last='Foster']

Foster is a 5'11" outside hitter from West Park High School. Foster is one of the most physically projectable athletes in the gym, with height, strength, and a long frame that translate into a high-level ceiling. A strong blocker and terminating attacker, Foster's vertical jump and impressive footwork make this athlete particularly exciting.

[player_tooltip player_id='911387' first='Amelia' last='Houtzer']

Houtzer is a 5'10" outside hitter from St. Francis High School. Houtzer brings polish, confidence, and rhythm to the floor. With a smooth approach and consistent point of contact, Houtzer produced efficient swings all event long. Her strong serve/receive performance on defense and dependable defensive skills round out a true six-rotation profile.
